IDK Train robbery would be fun. I think it would be cool to gas up the train at Guba and have it lead to a new map. I would also be cool to be able to derail or stop the train before it leaves the current map. -

It would be cool to gas up the train at Guba and have it lead to a new map. Maybe also have a way to derail it or stop it. Endless fun for geared up survivors. Maybe require a lot of gas to encourage people to work together. -

Yeah, it may be difficult to interate a seperate map into the current system and I am sure there is a huge list of features and bugs that would take presidence but it would be cool way to transition to a new map. I would think it would be easier for the layman to operate a modern train than a helicopter. -

Once you buy the DayZ standalone you buy the Alpha and all the updates including the final release. -

How do you load the pistol? I found a FNX-45 and 35 rounds of .45 ACP but can can seem to get the gun loaded.

Melee Weapon Quick Switch Help/Advice

I don't see why you cant just allow the melee weapons in the pistol slot but I like the second choice better. -
I've been shot more times by bandits with an axe in my hand than a rifle. I would like the ability to shot back if I have a rifle in my pack. There is no distinction between PVP and PVE in this game its up to the player.

Game play will significantly improve if we could just put the knife,crowbar,machete in the pistol slot.

If this has been suggested before consider it a +1. Please make the hunting knife/crowbar a secondary weapon. Less range and damage as a hatchet but usable in the pistol slot.

This is a good point. A simple solution would be to make the crowbar/machete a secondary. -

Actually, I did use the search bar and I did not see it in the first few minutes of looking through the thousands of results. So I posted it as a +1 if already suggested. I thought it was worth bring up because I was hoping the machete would be a secondary. -

No, it's not redundant because it would allow you to have a melee weapon in the pistol slot. This would allow you to attack infected quietly with out using ammo and if you get ambushed by a bandit switch to your primary weapon. -
I think the crowbar should be in the pistol slot making it usefull

X0TCadde gave some great examples of the motivation behind hackers. With that being said whats the best way to combat them? This kind of question comes up a lot in my line of work in network security. Currently the best defense is a intrusion prevention system. It is an appliance or software that inspects the traffic and shuns it. Sounds simple right? Well no, sometimes the software is wrong and shuns legitimate traffic. The best way to manage this is to have trained humans who know the nature of the legitimate traffic to review the logs and determine if the traffic should be shunned. My point is, the best defense against hackers is well trained admins who have control over their servers to make the hard calls on banning hackers. This is why private hives have been successful against hackers. -

Your best bet against hackers is to find a private hive server that has active admins.

I think each cross bow should hold up to 5 bolts. like a clip. Most of the cross bows out there have a quiver built in. If this idea has been posted already consider it a +1
