I remember I found plenty of tents in a hanger at a airfield and took some cooked meat, a silenced pistol, some new clothing, and a ALICE backpack, I believe. I also remember finding a tent in a forest, and one on a hill and taking some stuff that was in them. I didn't really feel bad because, for all I know, the owners could've been bandits. Plus, they had plenty of food and drinks anyway, so I didn't really care at the time. :P

I 'm having the same problem too. Went to play ArmA2: CO to try out "Wasteland" and the game conversion notification came up and went with it, and now I can't launch the game because of the "Game is unavailable(application is running)" error. What does it mean by, "application is running" though?

I play Resident Evil music(ranging from the first one, director's cut, Code: Veronica, Operation Raccoon City, etc.) on winamp and have it on shuffle and repeat. I also have the volume around 30%, that way, I can hear what's around me clearly(with or without Turtle Beach headsets). I made another playlist that contains safe room music from different Resident Evil games if I feel safe in a particular area.

Not finding items I need and getting severely injured by the infected.

I doubt I'll win, but what the heck, I'll give it a shot.

It's nice to hear that some of the guys are getting unbanned. I just hope the ones that really did cheat stay banned. Oh, and why doesn't Clatterbridge go to a forum that hates EA instead of coming here talking about Origin, DLC, how "EA is a big bad super evil company"? I'm not a huge fan of EA, but I can't hate them since they provided games that I like/games that I'm interested in playing.

It's good to see that things have calmed down, people claiming that the people that are banned are therefore hackers and whatnot. I've played DayZ in the afternoon and the beta patch I have is 95724. I'm one of the legit players, but I haven't gotten banned. I'm not going to upgrade to the latest beta patch though, because I'm not taking any chances.

In game, I take whatever type of food or drink it is. In real life, I'd choose Coke-Cola over Pepsi(I like both, but Coke has a better taste imo) and pasta over beans and sardines.

Just happend to me recently. I was inside what looked like a store and when I was looting, I heard footsteps next to me, and I saw a player body sliding on the floor. It startled me at first, but then I tried talking to him and all of the sudden, I started hearing that "bullet whizzing by" sound effect, and started hacking at him with my hatchet(sadly, it didn't do anything to him). In a few minutes, he shot me and killed me with what sounded like a machine gun. I don't know if that's some kind of weird glitch, or if the player was cheating in some way. I didn't get a chance to record it because I didn't expect anything like that to happen.

I didn't see a zombie face on him neither. But the best way I can describe it, the corpse was face down on the ground, like in this picture(not mine) and was sliding on the ground, even though I can hear his footsteps.

I was actually in front of him and aiming at him. It just didn't seem to be working since he was literally a corpse and was actually a living player. He was the only one I encountered in that store. It didn't seem laggy on my side, same with the guy that killed me. That would seem more likely(again, it could've been some kind of glitch, but I'm not postive), because I've never seen a player in DayZ that has a corpse as their player model.

Exploring places, killing some infected, hopefully encounter a fellow friendly, and making my own personal goals. One of my goals is to find the airfield and see what's there.

I have short story. It was when I was probably around Elektro, but I don't remember exactly where since I didn't have a map. I was at one of the wooden structures that have loot. When I was looting, I got shot by a bandit using a double barreled shotgun, which broke my bones and put in the prone position(I was also bleeding, but I was still alive long enough to surive). I panicked a little and shot my makarov a couple of times in his direction. As I was in cover, thinking this may be it, I rolled out of cover to my left(Q key), and shot him dead, surprisingly. I couldn't believe I was still alive. I was also thinking he was probably pissed off that the shotgun didn't kill me on the spot lol. A few minutes after that, I encountered a friendly and asked if he had some morphine. He said he did and he was going to give me some, but I died from blood loss, sadly. :/ All in all, I didn't care that I died because I felt happy that I killed him. :)

Last night, I had a dream I was playing DayZ and I was shooting at a player. I don't know if it was a bandit or a friendly(even though, I would ask if they're a friendly first instead of shooting first), but I guess it was a bandit. It was a rather short dream from what I remember. Anyone else had a dream about DayZ?

Finally, I can post :P. On topic, I have no idea why this is happening(and I have no idea where I'm at since I had no luck finding a map), but I do hope this gets fixed. I'm not sure if it's ArmA2's engine having some problems or if it's a problem in DayZ. Also, my FPS drops around this area more than anywhere else.
