  1. [sorry if this has already been discussed] At first i thought my issue was related to my video card/drivers. I was playing DayZ fine all day yesterday till i joined back in at night to play with friends and i got really bad FPS. I thought it was because i was messing with my CCC to get Skyrim looking all pretty (totally different gfx issue). What makes me believe it is not related to anyone's hardware/drivers... 1) I did a clean sweep of everything AMD related to my video card. 2) I was playing all day fine with no game updates in between the during me playing at day then at night. [FIX] Right click game in steam > Go to properties > Local Files > Validate It should find 1 missing file every time AFTER you start up ARMA II. If it does find it missing and recovers it, try restarting your game and playing DayZ. It has worked every time like it should since that. I know it will be annoying validating your game every time after you play but at least you may be able to play again. The file that it seems to be missing is something related to BattleEye. So if you are a non-STEAM user maybe you could find the installer for the AC software and give that a go.
