    Yesterday I killed a sniper that had killed members of my clan. Picked up his AS50 TWS. Knew AS50 was a legit weapon, had no idea that TWS was a hacked in one. Updated to the new beta today.

    Got banned right after taking a non-hacked weapon out of a tent that had another TWS inside of it. It was foolish, but I had crap gear and did not know I could get banned from it.

    Edit: Dang why didn't I think to mention this? Before I was on the server that I looted the tents on I had been logging into another server and got kicked for allegedly having some sort of blocked script. I also saw someone else being kicked off the server he owns with a very similar error message, just a different code for the script.

    This is all in patch 95819 (except the first story) though, maybe the problem persists in that one as well?

    My clan was organizing a raid on Elektro. We were getting ready on the hill to the east of the power plant, all spread out pretty far apart. After a few minutes my mates were getting shot at and soon enough a few died. I made my way up the hill and saw the sniper who was doing this. Nametags were on (even though server name shows them as being off,) and I saw his name was Alan, he was holding an AS50. I killed him, went to loot his body and his primary was an "AS50 TWS." It was an AS50 with a thermal scope. I have no way of telling whether he spawned it or was just using it, or the details of the rules involving that, but he would have had a harder time spotting my friends had he not been using it. My friends kept dying in Elektro though so we gave up the raid and left before my mind thought to take pictures, so sorry about that.

    If you actually were getting shot at, then probably yes.

    Once I was looting a heli crash site and suddenly I was hit. Luckily the guy didn't get my legs with what sounded like his FAL, so I started to sprint away. I was running serpentine, he unloaded at least a magazine and a half trying to shoot me, but I didn't get hit again a single time. After running for around 45 seconds I started decending down a hill and out of his sight, so I was safe.

    You also have to know what direction they are shooting from so that you aren't running straight away from them.

    Everyone gets this error, if you click okay it should be fine. If not you have other problems that have nothing to do with this thing.

    As for finding no weapons, yesterday when I got the game I thought the same thing, I went for four hours straight without finding a single gun. I was looking in the wrong places. Try running through Cherno in a server with less people on it. Check the church and all those open buildings with two floors.

    Okay so I got this game 3 hours ago and the installation was a bit of a mess. I may have done it improperly but I can play fine. There are two glitches though that are very bad.

    First I cannot find guns. I have searched around 20 buildings, but that didn't convince me because they were in towns near the shore. So I went out and found a barn that was devoid of weapons, then two deer-stands, which were the same. I can find ammo and food and drinks and trash, just no guns. Also when joining games some error comes up saying 'no entry found: bin\configweapon', or something like that.

    Second I hear flies around me, but no bodies. Happened around 8 times.

    This all happened on a spread of around 3 or 4 servers. How can I uninstall DayZ and reinstall it to ArmA without deleting ArmA?

    I just installed the game about 2 hours ago and am having a bit of trouble. I have heard flies near me around 5 times throughout my play time, none have had bodies near them. I have seen bodies before though so it's not a problem with not seeing them.
