I had to read this a few times, at first I thought you were demanding the new release because it has been done. I'll join, I've been missing out on enjoying ACE2 on normal Arma 2 anyway, was half-way through creating an epic mission. :D

Try explaining this to the hundreds of new players who didn't "see" 'Alpha' on the download button. Game is largely playable as it is. I just avoid stairs if I can If I feel I may fall off them and die because the Arma2 wasn't really designed with house-to-house fighting primarily on their mind. What's the broken game? Please clarify your point; this is a modification of a game. You just cannot please people, had this been announced before release people would be begging for a release. Don't announce it and release it, people just cannot stop complaining. MODIFICATION. Thankfully, the complaints come from the absolute minority of new players. New players generally complain on servers, but when you explain to them the issues, they quickly understand and just get on with it. Just the select few believe they have a god given right to a perfect game.

Difficulties as far as i'm aware just determines your HUD. For example cross-hairs and 3rd person aren't available in veteran mod.

In all seriousness, this is awesome. Shit like this gets me amped to play the game and go investigating and searching for stuff. Could the developers be adding things that we just don't know? This is so cool, Rocket. You're a fucking genius, hands down BIS needs to give you a pay rise and unlimited resources due to your contribution to the company and the community. I hope they begin to try to add some background story to this, perhaps the radio signals are telling you to go somewhere which may be a secret location. What would be cool if you found documents from dead military officials that can be read about the virus or whatever is happening which IMO would be better than a tank you can find and fix.

I once saw a bandit running from Nory Sobor to Stary, I had my CZ sniper rifle to watch the, what i think was 15 zombies chasing him. He was a bandit, and I wanted those zeds out from the area, so I allowed them to chase him till they got half way between the two villages. I shot the bandit in the leg (took 3 shots but I managed to hit him) He fell to the ground and quickly eaten. The zeds just stayed around so I popped a few before looting him.

Give it time, it's just a trend.

Why are people asking why's it in the mod? The mod is meant to be realistic, if you go snooping about a military base, you're sure as hell going to find such things...

I just wish that if you alt-f4, the master server just resets your character. That way, you'd have to go the other route, by which time you could already be dead.

No, I hope the development team don't fix it. I rather like it, if I'm honest. It's so hard to explain to new players why this is happening, they just pull out the "I PAID X AMOUNT I SHOULD BE PLAYING IT" No, dumbass, you paid x amount for arma 2, not the mod.

inventory system is fine, you're just new to the game. Arma 2 wasn't exactly intended for simplicity... And why complain about the dark? Go to a field in the middle of no where at night with no torch. What can you see? Probably sweet f-all.

Hmm, I think I'll just persistently ask on here, seeing the amount of attention the video has got, he's probably got hundreds if not thousands of messages. Just curious, even if it is free music. The music is spectacular, and I love it. And even The Jerry requires it ;)

You have 2 minutes to return fire and you won't lose humanity, I don't think it takes that long to respond.

Why not have it that you can fix the power-grid for x amount of time before repairs are required? Like the vehicles, you'd require to find stuff. I think it'd completely kill the night time immersion you get from a pitch black city though if it was on permanently.

Played on this last night, not a single problem with anything than minor bugs. I recommend this server to any brits! (and others of course!)

The new level has added more tension IMO, especially in Chernarus. I stocked up on supplies and found a hiding spot well away from zeds and bandits, so I made multiple runs to get resources. After getting literally everything I could out of centre of cherno, I was on top of a tower offering covering fire for anyone entering chernarus from the east/north areas. After killing a few zeds to clear the way for 2 survivors, I looked down at the bottom of the factory/tower I was on, only to see about 20 zeds waiting for me. I was well and truly stuck up that tower...

Most sniper rifles you come across are the hunting rifles. A very rural landscape, with lots of farms...and you want to ban hunting rifles? Pointless, there should be more in the countryside in barns and etc if anything
