    Radio's

Sounds interesting. The developers over at Project Reality have their own version of Mumble, perhaps something like that could be incorporated into the game, but some additional items are required for it to be entirely functional.

What Day Z really needs: Bicycles

I would love a bicycle, I wouldn't mind bombing down some hills for fun to add to the game :D

    [Suggestion]Not enough realism (yet again)

To save the human race, we must repopulate!

    Choose where to spawn

I don't get this anti-hardcore shit some of us get. Arma was a war-simulator, meant to be ultra hardcore....I thought the premise of this was....survival simulator...
  5. Finally some sensible suggestions, which AFAIK, haven't been entirely covered. Zed speed is a common complaint, and I kinda of sympathise with it. However I do enjoy the 28 days later feel it has, just the bloody AI paths are literally all-over the place. Line of sight, however, I agree. However, if it's possible begs to be answered.

    A GODDAMN TRAIN

I have a legitimate question. Are you serious?

    Choose where to spawn

Wording in your posts makes it seem other wise{ "I bought Arma II for this mod so in essence yes". This isn't really a 'social game' considering Arma was meant to be a simulator, whilst you can be social on it. The modification was designed to be, if anything quite anti-social in the sense it's meant to be brutal. Perhaps you could arrange meeting points at specific times, log on a few hours before hand, see where you are then make your way there.

    Choose where to spawn

I assume that means you MUST demand and have those demands delivered because you bought the game specifically for DayZ' date=' right? [/quote'] Let's try to keep this on topic guys. These forums are filled with enough flamers and pointless arguments. I'll refer you to the larger body of text (2 paragraphs on the subject) below that specific segment of my post. At the moment, I honestly think there's more important things to worry about, other than spawn points. For example, stopping those bloody D/Cers. Had one of the idiots do one on me today just as he was reloading and saw me approaching with my shotgun...:(

    Unlockable Skins

You know the survivor skin to begin with; the one you see maybe different to what others see, so I don't know how this will work too well.
  13. You say all this like it's absolutely piss-easy to do, and that you're the only one who's suggested it. Fuck no to selective spawn points.

    Choose where to spawn

I assume that means you MUST demand and have those demands delivered because you bought the game specifically for DayZ, right? I find it absolutely absurd that people are coming on here and pretty much demanding for changes simply because they bought Arma 2 just for DayZ. You've bought a game, and given a free modification. If you don't like it, get a refund then find elsewhere. Selecting where you spawn will kill the anticipation and the anxiety of not really knowing where you are, or how you're going to get somewhere. It will mean people will just spawn in x, y and z locations leaving others vacant nothing going on which will in effect close off certain areas of the map. In some cases, in my personal experience, spawning in the town the very south-west part of the map meant it would be safe and quicker to travel to Zelenogorsk. But, this places is still very unpopular with people, if anything. Spawns should be more random, and cover a larger space of the 225km playground we have at our disposal. Another thing about the whole "I want to play this socially" Fair enough, I can understand that. The primary issue is the very basis of the concept: brutality in survival. You're dumbing down this brutality with your demands for selective spawning. If you can choose where you're going to spawn, I can guarantee you, that your survival plans or whatever plans will be virtually the same every single time. You'll remove the spontaneity out of it, and alas get bored of it and probably move on. No lose for anyone really here, other than those who legitimately enjoy the spontaneous spawn points and then having to explore. What DayZ really needs isn't selective spawn points. But much more spawn points to begin with which are selected at random. More inland, more to the west coast, more to the north etc etc.

My Rant: Why I am Done with the Game.

N'aww, you died and lost everything? I was on Day 14, with some mad stuff that I loved. I got killed, big whoop, I went on to kill the bastard that killed me, and enjoyed exploring other areas I didn't in the first time.

    OP, any update on this?

What graphical settings do you play on?

Oh no! ps1 style graphics? :( awh....i guess that just ruins the epic gameplay...

    Clans, Factions

I'm playing DayZ, not 'STALKER' or 'Fallout 3'. If I wanted to join factions in a formal way, i'll play them. + there's probably atleast a hundred of these suggestions now.

Spawn survivors with only a flashlight

That flashlight would be useless during the day. Only 1 bandage and 1 magazine. Hopefully this would put people off going on a CoD style rampage and actually scavenge, and consider what they do in towns/villages/cities.

    Class System

If zombies came about tomorrow, I am not going to magically be rewarded a badge for successfully crawling between zombies for atleast a few hours. This is making this sound more and more directed, you shouldn't have better 'skill level' than the person who's just respawned, it should be down to the person's skill alone with nothing aiding you like a nanny. These features suggested over hang the primary concept; do what you need and how you want. A skill and attributes system would IMO make things easier for the individual. The game is meant to be brutal, unforgiving and sadistic in the sense it is designed to watch you reach a peak and make a small error and suffer for it. I believe adding such a system would ruin that concept.

Implement a currency item such as gold coins.

So the entire community must have another addon so a small group of the community can use a monetary system. Next you'll be demanding banks, and then a full electable legislature, judiciary and executive. (i kid with that bit) Why...why can't you make use of useless crap in the game already, like tin cans? You're demanding an additional addon just for yourself, and a select few others, unless of course, you can prove there's popular demand for this 'closed society'. Perhaps rather than suggesting it. You use the already available developer tools and make it yourself and submit it with a request. This would save developers a bit of time. The primary issue is, there's no demand for such a coin. You already have a viable alternative - tin cans; at your disposal. They'll function no differently, as they have no real purpose in the game and neither would a coin until of course, you come across this 'closed society'.

    Arrgh! waiting till Beta

Oh god, someone complaining about the population of zeds. Look at the size of the map, a few thousand per server is very small compared to the actual estimated population size. "for a game where every step....blardy blardy blah" - ALPHA stage.

Implement a currency item such as gold coins.

I personally don't want a currency system enforced upon me, I want to decide what is an acceptable trade. Currency is of little value in a post-apocalyptic world. What's more important, a monetary system; or finding some food or water? I'd rather not have to get currency to go buy something, I rather straight up swap primitive style. In the post-apocalyptic world, people will be looking to trade the least valuable item they have for something they value more. It's a very libertarian idea that in mutual aid, no one is losing out. I can see people losing out with currency, and I can't see it being implemented effectively.

    Choosing your spawn

No choice. That'll kill the game, because people will just spawn around areas of good loot anyway, regardless of bandits. People still waltz into Cherno or Elektro like they're fucking ironman as it is. Protip: don't die. It's pretty simple, I've only ever been killed once within the first hour of play.
