    @ Powell now this is a list I could get behind. I wouldn't mind we made SDAYZ much much much harder. It's still fairly easy once you get acclimated to it.

    /facepalm It means go play on another server. The only people that can help you are obviously those who admin the servers you were banned on. (which you would have known had you read that link) Or better, stop playing public hives and join private hives with dedicated sites and active admin teams that can address issues. People seem to think they can come here to get problems solved on privately run servers. I'm sorry but that's simply not the case. Especially not since the private hive movement got so much support.

    You're saving a few hundred megs of RAM, and that added bit of memory is going to be positively negligible gain if you get a gain at all. You'd be better off just getting more RAM.

    I like all of these suggestions, other than the roads thing. The roads are quiet loud and punishing during the day, however at night they're one of the few things keeping zombies relevant to the game.

    After completely removing it, ensure that your DayZ commander doesn't have start up parameters enabled in the settings tab. Once you get the vanilla servers working again, then try to install Namalsk.

    It didn't ruin it. You did something incorrect and now you're in a bad spot. Did you use DayZ commander to install it?

    Did you disable your @DayZ install in the "expansions" section of the ARMA II menu?

    Play on private hives, (like the one in my sig!) the hacking is far more controlled and stamped out when found.

    No one 'finds out' your CD-Key, unless you either hand it over to them, or you download something (usually a cheat) and it get's stolen replacing your valid key with a banned key. The guy above me is right about submitting a ban appeal to BE, but they aren't going to help you. Man up, own what you did and either buy a new key or stop playing. It's no one's fault but your own.

    Look at map, Set 3 way points I am constantly in tree cover for the duration of my trip rather than needing to check my map again at each point.

    As someone who has made backyard bombs, I will respectfully disagree with you that it takes days. Some things we can make in several minutes or a few hours (hello improvised napalm!). The mart and industrial areas, have more than enough reason to have the materials any idiot with 9th grade education could put together and make booms with. Is it dangerous? Yep. it is. Should the risk be there to blow yourself up? Absolutely!

    Wait wait. IEDs, and garage style grenade launchers are EASY to make. The work bench shouldn't produce military grade awesomeness. It should put out improvised things. I can use a potato as a one off suppressor if need be. It's doesn't take much more than a bit of common sense and the right materials to make weapons. I see all these "NO YOU DONT KNOW HOW" and I scratch my head. It's a terrible argument. People act as if the players in the game are mouth breathing high school drop outs barely above zombie intelligence. It's stupid.

    This playstyle died off with the deep and dark caverns us 80s and earlier kids visited. They' were called arcades. You would stick your money into the machine and BAM! SHIT GOT REAL. You had a limited number of lives, and if you were playing street fighter, you lose one match and it's from joystick to pocket your hand goes.

    The only thing you will need to do is copy the addons folder from ARMA II into OA. After that, just download the mod files and play.
