war z looks like wow with zombies..

The other day when me and my friend were scavenging for vehicle parts between Dolina and Polana we heard shots ring out, it seemed to be coming from over the hill to the east from us. We decided to investigate and moved in closer. As we were nearing the factory we suddenly heard a loud explosion go off to our west, a big cloud of smoke went up from behind a hill. Quickly we scurried over, splitting up a bit with me going up in the treeline securing an overwatch position. As I closed in on the smoke I could see a burnt out jeep right next to a single tree on the left of the road. On the ground close to it there were two survivors bleeding and obviously passed out and another survivor in the middle of them trying to give them first aid. We and my friend decided then and there that we would use their misfortune to our benefit and layed down fire from our positions killing all of them before they had a chance to get patched up. Enjoyed the loot all the way up to Berezino where we both got sniped, and so the story begins anew!

Well the hype brings alot of possibilities that would not have been available if there had not been 500k users wanting to play. If the hype dies I find it hard to see the community just die and as it is a mod it would probably never die but instead slowly keep evolving.

I dont see what you're on about, people play because they like to play. They get upset when their teddybears are taken from them and then they adapt or they leave and the mod keeps evolving. I dont see the issue..

please explain.

I was playing on the BRA1 server today and suddenly everyone on the server was teleported ontop of eachother at the NW airfield. All hell broke loose and people started shooting eachother (naturally). I escaped into the forrest but a little bit later I was teleported into mid air and died, same for my friend who also escaped the first mayhem. My guess is a hacker or bored admin.. anyone seen this happen before?

One of the most rewarding moments was when I found a motorcycle and it ended with me crasching it in town, breaking my legs, getting eaten alive after crawling back over 2000kms with a spare tire. I felt both joy and hapiness at first and physical pain in the end.. love this game.

This is what happened the first and only time so far that I've found NVG's. I had recently spawned close to Elektro and had managed to pick up a decent basic kit pretty quickly. The only thing I was missing was a box of matches. Proceeded northward towards the airfield checking grocery stores on my way but didn't find any. Finally at the airfield at night I crawled up to a zombie filled barracks and lured all of them out with a smoke grenade. Crawled inside and in the back room, there they were my first ever NVGs! I grabbed them and didn't waste another second getting the hell out of there. Heart pumping I equipped them and with increased paranoia checked every tree on my way out of the airfield. So I thought to myself that the only thing I needed now was a box of matches so I could cook me some animals and proceeded to head down south to Vybor (I think). The city was safe, no zombies spawned. I quickly entered in cover of the darkness and enjoying my newly aquired night vision to make sure the path was clear. I entered a building opposite of the grocery store with 3 floors or something, proceeded to check all the rooms without luck and then went out on the balcony and climbed the ladder up to the roof. Now for some reason I decided that it would be smart to lie down so I hit Z and watched in horror as I started to sprint forward towards the edge of the roof and plunged myself to death in the street below. Easy come, easy go.
