I just got done reading a post about hackers, as the server my clan owns has received a lot of them lately. I'd just like to apologize to anyone who plays on our server and has died due to a hacker, we all feel very frustrated with this, and we're working on the issue. In time, I recognize that the anti-cheat system will improve MASSIVELY and a LOT of people will be banned, but until then, we can only hope for the best, enjoy the game, and try not to let childish scripters get to you. This post isn't going to be very long, it was really only for the purpose of expressing the understanding of what's going on and to apologize (yet again) for the events happening. Hopefully people can look past this issue, as a lot of other server owners are forced to do, as banning people without proof can lead to a blacklisted server; which does not rustle our jimmies. Sorry again, for fun and game play enjoyment being ruined, and I wish you luck in zombie survival.

Just an idea, but I thought it would be pretty cool to be able to view the DayZ servers from the site. There was a time when I was killed by hackers in Atlanta 24 I believe it was, and I really wanted to reach out to an admin or something and have these guys banned. I understand there's a cheating forum (or something of the sort) but the idea doesn't stem from just hackers or cheaters on the game. In a nutshell, I think it'd be pretty cool over time, to be able to comment and discuss things on a server's forum. Possibly form alliances, talk about the management that runs the server, places to avoid or go, etc. Food for thought.

Rape is real, and would be real in a zombie apocalypse, sadly. I mean, if you're a guy, and you've been wandering around for a few weeks and you see some hot girl, you'd think of banging her. It's a dumb idea, a sex bar, but the idea of rape in a survival situation is plausible, in some cases, anyway. Also, when I saw this topic, I automatically thought you meant if you don't have sex within a certain amount of time you die. lulz. Lack of sex = death. True stuff guys.

Great idea. Though, I'd like it if the class system regarded the last life you lived. This way, once a player respawns, they're stuck as this class, there's no respawning till you acquire the class you wish to have. Also, it kind of forces people to not necessarily never shoot on sight, but consider the outcome if they ever get shot themselves, as you said. Which, in my opinion, is like a silent "fuck you" to ruthless killers, for if they have incredibly high humanity, then they'll spawn in as a completely helpless citizen (until they get a weapon).

I think a reason to live should be after staying alive for a certain amount of time, there's transportation arranged to take you to another "safe" place, which of course, in reality, is just another zombie infested map. That way, as opposed to having the option to pick at first, you have to prove you can survive for a certain amount of time or something on the Cheranus map. Of course, I'm just spit-balling an idea, this isn't necessarily a deeply thought out reply. Also, you can always go back to Cheranus once you die, you've just unlocked another map; I simply resent the idea of things being handed to players, they should have to earn another map.

Female character is still glitched. She can't wear gillie suits, camouflage, or anything of the sort. They're fixing that, or working on it, it's a bug. As I recall, males start off with white sleeves, so if the girl short colors are changed, then the sleeve colors will have to be, as well.
