Sorry guys, I posted the TS3 server we were using on shoutbox today, but it probably got buried in the chat stream. Not sure how many ppl this server can take, but maybe we should find a public TS3 server we can all connect to, so this doesnt happen. A couple of us have been playing on UK 180 for 2 days ... ultimately trying to get some vehicles, and tents to set up a little camp ( slow going, but awesome ). This server has a good ping for those of us in the states ( maybe not past Kansas/Colorado so much ), and havent seen a hacker yet. Maybe we can make a "home" on this server if its stable, and a good ping for everyone, etc. There was 5 of us playing tonight :thumbsup: Let's keep that contact going ... the more ppl we have hanging about, the more we can accomplish ( whatever that might be ). Anyway .... keep checking shoutbox ( http://dayzfogeys.freeshoutbox.net ), and here ... keep posting ideas for the group ( this is NOT a clan ) ... great start ... see ya out there ;]

Yeah ... DazTroyer set it up a couple days ago .... good place to see who is where and when ;] Sorry to hear that man ... we'll be around :] Night servers are ok ... not huge fan, but like that concealment at the same time. Those nvgs I "gave away" woulda come in handy.

YES! Finally ... searched a couple times for a post like this, but havent found it until now. 46 yr old here, gamer all my life ... not stopping, ever. Total team player ... give ya my last stick of morphine, and maybe my last stanag sd mag :P Been playing Dayz for almost 6 months, almost too regularly ... spent 2 weeks solo to get used to this awesome thing ( hadnt played Arma yet, so didnt know controls so well, etc ), then grouped up with some folks. Went well until we picked up a bunch of kids that thought hacking, and pvp was all this mod is about ... thats when things got st00pid. Until then, we had organized, team players, and worked our asses off to build very decent camps, with plenty of vehicles that we used all that time ( hording is useless ). But the kids, and the BS eventually drove everyone away. BAH! So, Im down for this thing ( great idea Sula!! ) ... and hopefully will "see" some of you out there. Had just logged in to our camp, alone. Couple of my ppl were down in Cherno and needed supplies, so grab the ural we had up there, loaded to the brim with stuff, and started on my way south. I soon realized my game audio was too high, and interfering with me getting the coords for the pick up ... so I went into my options menu to turn down the volume ... and hit the "respawn" button instead. Dont think Ive ever had an adrenaline shot like that before. [not so] funny thing is, I was just LOLing about ppl who accidently hit that very button ... :facepalm:

Im 46 ... the oldest person I play with is 38, and the youngest is 14 in a group of prolly 15 ... not many in my age group, but Im a kid in my brain, so its all good. cheers for the best poll ever yep ... too much maybe ;]

a lot of the points you make are ignorant of the fact that this is an alpha ... and you are a willing alpha tester ... until you're not. which seems to be where you're headed ...

my 4 year old, $850 rig can play this on all very high settings at at least 60 fps ... but thats because I got to choose my parts. build a pc ...

Found/stolen tons of vehicles ... never been sniped or had anyone try to get it back while we took it. The odds are prolly in your favor.

ppl just luv to be assholes ... put your problem in the "bug" section, or whatever, and have ppl that actually give a shit know whats up.
