I would recommend checking out http://forums.bmrf.me and making an account there. This will add you to the whitelist for our private server so you can hopefully enjoy the game hacker free with your friends. Admins are almost always available and watching side chat to answer any questions or concerns that may arise. After making an account, all you have to do is attempt to join the server. Made some changes today, we've got around 60 custom loot buildings at this point (very few of them are military) and the L85 and AS50 have been removed from the spawn table and replaced with other weapons not normally in DayZ.

Had an issue with vehicle saving for a few days, but it's fully cleared up as of now. Updated the OP a bit to reflect some other changes, as well.

More bicycle spawns is likely going to happen soon, and as for the dropping players from the sky I know what's causing that and it should be fixed next restart.

I am unsure as to who you're accusing, but I am definitely interested so I can clear up any confusion related to that. The clan Zorin was referring to was [101] who was banned for having multiple members being incredibly obnoxious in side chat, I was getting multiple complaints from different groups daily and didn't do anything about it, but when I finally witnessed enough abuse and taunting from the members of that clan (aimed at other people, not myself) I decided to go ahead and make some bans. The funny thing is, I actually played with them and never had much of an issue with them myself when it came to the way they played the game, even though their primary objectives were to run over tents and drive vehicles into the ocean. But when I get complaints from half of the server about them being obnoxious over side chat and bragging about how hilarious it is to kill people and destroy things, while commenting on how 'mad' they must be, and then give plenty of warnings about it which are ignored, I have to take action. That group played with two of the admins, but regardless of who we play with we don't hand out favours because of it. The thing I do regret and apologise for is that I wasn't clear enough on why the clan was banned, since you seem to be misunderstood on why it happened. Hell, none of the admins even kept any vehicles stored anywhere, I barely even play the game, and the other admin (only had two at the time) was joining you in the fun. It's also worth noting that this happened two months ago when we were very new, and this is the one of the two admin abuse claims that have come up in that time period. 99% of the bans made are hack related, with a few of them being for excessive side chat abuse. I do not moderate gameplay whatsoever and people know that.

Stuff like that requires the client to install those addons to be able to play, which is something I'd like to avoid.

The only thing being worked on gameplay wise is adding new buildings with balanced loot spawns into the game.

As long as you signup on the website you should be able to get into the game just fine. It checks the IP you logged into the forums with against the IP you joined the game with and if they match, whitelists the GUID.

Added a custom mission file that adds a lot of fixes the debug monitor and prevents many duping methods.

Had a few hours of downtime due to a hardware upgrade. We're back now, and a Lingor Island server should be coming up tomorrow. Edit: Lingor is up!

I'm not entirely sure who you are, since your forum name doesn't stand out, but I did a lot of bans recently due to the extreme low quality of side chat on our server and if you were one of the people hit with that banwave then it's only done for quality control, and you were likely warned about it. Oh well, first negative post about the server in this thread so far, that's a pretty good record if you ask me! Sounds like you're just disgruntled about something you could of prevented, but if I'm incorrect in my assumption please let me know how I can improve and I'll take your feedback into consideration, as always. Edit: Yeah, based on your post above about the server needing waypoints (which everybody disagreed on except you, so you were upset that I didn't do it), you were banned for extreme trash talk and general rudeness in chat, and a lot of people were happy to see you gone. Please find another server to play on and I'm sure you'll find something more suitable. Hell, even the statement "server needs waypoints" is a dumb thing to say considering different people prefer different things, and you have no right to demand that any particular setting is turned on unless you have the majority of the server backing you up. On another note, third person has been disabled to gather feedback as somebody noted above, and while some people don't like the change, the responses were mostly positive. It's still up in the air but we're leaning on keeping it on for now. Also the latest Bliss update fixed a few issues related to losing your backpack on morph among other things, but many server admins have noticed an increased load time since that update, myself included, with a rollback to an earlier version of Bliss fixing the issue. I'm not going to do that and instead I'll wait for an official fix, so be warned that the load times could be nasty if we're full, which it tends to be.

It's being worked on, it's a difficult issue to pin down and will take some time.
