The reason you don't hear them bring it up is there is nothing that can be done. short of reworking the entire engine. Battle eye i supposed to detect hacking. Problem is it's easily disabled client side. (ie battle eye doesnt report hackers)

Again you are wrong... hackers do not hack for attention. They do it to see if they can. In arma 2's case. there is no way to stop them.

Sorry but you are very much incorrect. A person hacks to see if they can. not to get attention. Its like having a dealership sold sports car. First thing you do is see how fast you can drive it. Next step add aftermarket parts, drive it faster. Final step make it not even street legal anymore. Point is there will always be hackers. All that needs to be is make it harder to achieve. Most people will give up and move on. Battle eye is a joke of a anti cheat software. Anything that can be disabled client side is bad...

The problem lies with "battle eye" . Does the community realize it can be disabled from detecting any of your actions on the client side?

see the problem is arma engine. 90% of it is ran client side. You can pretty much script the game to do what ever you want. Oh and battle eye? NOPE.... you can disable battle eye from detecting any of your actions. i know this because i have seen it with my own two eyes. i don't own arma 2 or play dayz. I figured i would haunt the forums until a standalone more secure version is released. I am itching with every ounce of my being to play. After what i have seen i really don't want to deal with the hacks.

Simple fix is if someone was recently nocked out and you try to nock them out again it kills them. i mean if you are bashed in the head with a rock and only Knocked out, i am sure the second time would have a high chance to kill you. This way the true pacifist can use it and the griefers would just kill them like they wanted to anyway.

Why patch that? there is nothing wrong with running far north to hide your stuff?... if you think it is unfair get a group together head north and jack all the stuff you can find :)
