Thinking of gamebalancing the items used to repair vehicles (e.g. wheels) should be generic for all vehicles. Adding different types of engines, wheels and fuel tank parts will make repairing vehicles nearly impossible, cause it has to be done quick on a full server.

How could I forget about that! Of course you just type in the classname of the new mag and with some funny noise it draws itself a 3D model and implements itself in the game, like magic.

I dont see a valid reason for israeli made firearms in soviet chernarus scenario. There are much more russian weapons to be applied before one may think of some exotic deserteagle gold/tigerstripe with 0.05% spawn chance ;)

Hello everybody, currently I am wondering what the reason is for a) The abscence of the great silenced makarov implemented in Arma2 OA http://www.arma2.com/images/stories/weapons/arma2weapons_Makarov-silenced.jpg B) Why we have a PDW (very uncommon in chernarus scenario) but no SA-61 Scorpion. http://www.arma2base.de/content/images/game/arma2weapons_Sa61.jpg A silenced makarov which is not as superhardcore rare than M9 SD would be awesome for mid tier equiped survivors, the Scorpion suggestion is just a matter of course.

Excellent idea, beta mags would boost a M16 to a lightweight machinegun if needed. Otherwise this has no priority considering it takes some developmenttime to implement.

Medical Items dont need balancing, autoinjectors are supposed to take one slot for a reason.

Best suggestion in this thread is to replace the Lee-Enfield with Mosin-Nagant. Just think of the commonness of a british ww2 rifle in post soviet country... they arent common, but mosin-nagant will be. -
Bikes are currently overpowered, they are very fast, dont need fuel and when you find them they dont need to be repaired, unless damaged by some other player.

The only thing needing to be removed from the game is the L85 with thermal, or if you want just the thermal scope. So ridicoulus to get spotted whilst hiding perfectly covered in a big bush, and then AS50 to the head from +1km away.

For me the starter backpack isnt needed either, you find a backpack regarding current spawnrates very very quickly. -
Of course there is a reason for the presence of AKs everywhere, but also we should think about game balancing. I mean a survivor who gets the chance of spawning east of cherno, directly heading to the military tents most probably gets an AK. So right from the start under 10mins of playing he is able to outplay any civilian short to middle range firearm and thats what is not good in my opinion. In a confrontation where both oponnents have not the luck of spotting first the AK always wins against double-barrel shotgun, winchester, crossbow, enfield you name it. To my understanding of game mechanics it would be much more interesting if any military weapon would not spawn easily accessible for new survivors, for example no military weapons at locations near to the coast. That would enhance game experience because as a new survivor you will climb the letter up, first getting somekind of civilian grade weapon -> heading up north from the coast -> getting mid tier military weapons -> farther norther -> western military weapons and so on Practically speaking: -> Reducing the spawn rate of every military in Cherno, Elektro, Berezino, Balota Airfield and tents to the maximum level of 0,96% (current rate for akm/ak is 2,87%, 3,86%) Effect on this would be that the firefights in cherno are based on old civilian weapons and you will only find ammo for highter tier weapons on the military spots in the coast cities.

You guys need to remember that current server size is not the one Rocket intends it to be in the future. When you have given spawn rates and locations, like they are now, you have to admit that it is much more easier to raid cherno get the ak at the military medical tents and get out, as it would be when the whole server has 150+ survivors on it. Current server size is around 40 to 50. I think todays problematic will have settled down by itself when more survivors play on one server and hitting cherno hard will not more be possible running around at full speed, 10+ zombos behind you...

Hello everyone, so I just got my first confirmed murder with a M16 /grenadelauncher, and I wondered why there is no russian equivalent to the M16. So here is the input: -> Add new weapon AK74 with grenade launcher Photo: Background info: http://world.guns.ru...nd-gp-30-e.html Grenade launchers require some skill and some training to be used efficiently but once you know how to aim, the HE Grenade just blasts anything without being in cover out of his way. This would make the mid-tier equipment survivor a bit more powerful once he gets a proper AK in his hand. Thinking of game mechanics I would suggest further to make the M16/M4 grenades useable in the AK grenade launcher, so there arent even more types of grenades. Let me know what you think. K.B.

It may not be a big priority but I dont think there is much work to do for enabling ghiliesuits to female characters. A women wearing a ghilie suit should look exactly the same like its male counterpart or am I wrong?

Batteries would be interesting, but I think it isnt practicable to implement. The only chance I would see is when you have just one batterie type and it would fit all devices and lasts long. For example a NVG will be powered for 4h time... But srsly it isnt practicable forget it
