I agree with this post entirely, ACE sniping was awesome, it wasn't too difficult inside of 400 or 500 meters to get 100% hits with practice but it certainly would help in that not every average joe can ping you at 800 meters when you stop. My record on ACE II was 2565meters with a TAC50, was so chuffed with it, really the added difficulty and realism makes sniping so much more pleasing.

YES roving packs in forests etc, hundred of them in each city, make them able to actually catch you if you try to run etc

How about actual uses for masks, fully implemented infection etc, weapons like CS gas or an area of map that was gassed as an effort to kill the outbreak but the gas hasn't gone inert [or whatever] yet

Not so much flashbangs, but with the police stations I'd like to see more police themed loot, so like pump action shotguns with beanbag rounds, riot guns, more pistols, Riot gear and regular police clothing, a baton, maybe a taser and of course, CS gas

I personally want to see guns being just unbelievably rare or often spawning in poor condition and ammo being very rare too. I'd like it if it became normal practice for players to go days without finding a gun.

I hated the dayz mod mods, the only OK one was 2017, and I hear they're making a 2017 mod for Arma 3 on Altis, which is awesome, and what they totally should've done with the SA, altis is sooooo much better than chernarus -

I want to see civilian weapons and 100s of them, like 5 or 6 different kinds of .22 rifles, a few different shotguns and different types of each variant so like 3 or 4 different models of double barrels and bolt action rifles [old military and hunting rifles] some WW2 weaponry would be nice too [obviously Soviet and German stuff as opposed to garands and thompsons etc. Military weapons should be sickeningly rare, western weapons even more so. -

The idea behind the survivors is that they wash up on shore, from god knows where. I.e. you're probably not chernorussian -
Here's idea I've had brewing about in my head for a while. Given that when you spawn you come to on a beach, no idea where you are, you fit the build the of a shipwreck survivor as opposed to say, a random local who went on a weekend bender and woke up to zombie apocalypse, after all an Asian woman or a black man hardly fit the build of a Chernorussian native. I think this is a good opportunity to fiddle about with the idea of survivor classes, selected int he 'default character' menu. The idea is that if you are a shipwreck victim you could have come from a multitude of ship and maritime professions such as; a fisherman, a merchant seaman or officer, a naval seaman etc. So my idea is that firstly, your starting clothing reflects that of a shipwreck victim i.e. survival suit, navy uniform, old crusty fisherman clothing and so on. The second idea is that as opposed to spawning with a miraculously working flash light and battery, you spawn with 1 or 2 items that fit the build of who you [survivor] were, so for example a fisherman might spawn with a utility knife or a cigarette lighter or a ships officer might spawn with a compass, nothing over the top like a pistol or anything.

Im sure you can expect 30 round box mags for the sks soon enough, Project CDF mod in arma 2 had em, patience.
