[/quote'] The first heli sounds like someone looted it and I don't think m24 or the ammo spawns at heli crashes, maybe someone else got their and swapped all the ammo for a new gun they found? in the 9 or so heli crashes ive found in the last week, all had loot. most had FALS.

Ive left the stary area and not found many, so i guess around stary is the best place to find one. Me and my mate were going to meet up at the tents at stary and both ran into crashed helis, so two were very close to each other but the server crashed :( But i would say that the FAL is very very common, not the ammo but the gun.

When i found my l85a2 i was too scared to go anywhere, but then realised how boring it is to survive as you cant really barricade yourself in and eventually said fuck it and carried on s normal. Im still alive with my gun, but i go more into towns and airfield. I also have NVGs and bizon SD in the backpack, so im risking a lot but find it more fun. Still very paranoid.

I remember using the l85a2 and some bugged occurred, causing the l85a2 scope to not be in thermal OR NV, was quite nice as it looked clear but then it went back to normal. Thermal is really good though.

Finding 4 heli crashes in one server probably, happened two days ago and included NVGs, bizonSD, DMR, m107, l85 and medical supplies when i really needed it( my team-mate had broken bones, we both had low blood)

Well the military tents at the top of it sometimes have really good loot, and its a big town in the middle of the map. It is very good for all kinds of loot. I have actually only ever seen/shot at 1 person at this place and ive been their like over 20 times. I just get lucky i guess haha.

You never been to a heli crash, they are pretty common in them, just like the FN FAL.

FN Fal are so common at heli crashes that it is getting annoying. In the last 9 heli crashes ive found, i have seen at least 6/7 FALS, and also 1 fal with the scope. But not much ammo which is weird.

That is how it is, i have everything you can possibly get from the cities/barns or have something better, the only thing i am missing is the m9SD and then i will be complete, which means that i only have to go after the airfield. If i die, i think i will be more happy than gutted, simply because i find the beginning hours of finding any loot and taking it much more fun.

The fact that my heart rate increases sooo much when i just see another survivor makes it much better than any other game. So exhilarating.

Defiantly in game, found 8 in the last 9 days, 4 yesterday and 3 in one server(Atlanta 50) They are commonly around the bottom half of Stary

So today i found 4, yes 4 heli crashes, they are pretty common if i must say so, a bit too much for my liking considering how awesome they are. If you cant find them then its cause your not keeping an eye out/not in the right places, its pretty easy to find em and when you do, you will feel like its Christmas. Just looking at the horizon and seeing an outline of a heli makes me jizz a little, 9/10 when i do see the outline it is the chopper, so that makes the total become 8 choppers in 7 days of playing the game( each day i put like 3 to 6 hours into the game) I found 3 in Seattle 50.

Found 4 heli crashes, no NVG and GPS and i made sure i checked everywhere, i stayed at each heli for like 6 minutes and circled it like 10 times but no luck. I did find the most rare item though, the l85a2 CWS. Just luck.

Probably yes, but will be VERY expensive and give you the same performance as a desktop PC that costs like 700£, but i understand laptops are needed for some people so if you can afford it then you will be able to find one.

Very nice to see some good performance fixes, but please atleast for all us gamers and your slaves, fix the spawn rate of the zeds, cant you make it so no zombie spawns near a player( after a bunch have already spawned) for like 5 minutes?

I have the camo clothing( not the ghillie suit) and so far ive had no problems, had it for like 3 to 4 days and no ocean spawn!

Guess i was super lucky, i would agree that around stary is the most common place considering I found two quite near each other( like in a 3 mile radius of the city)

Ok so I found my first downed Heli in a field guarded by ten zombies. This was after leaving NWAF. I slinked to the chopper and my reward was........... Nothing! 0 Zilch Goose egg Then I go over to the other side and see a gatling gun in mid animation firing. I remember reading somewhere that helis that are like that are bugged and have no loot. Another pipedream! Just call me the unluckiest guy in DAYZ. Since patch 1/4 and 1.5, i have played the game l3 times. First time i found a crashed heli and found the l85 AWS ,camo and some generic items, second play-through found 2 FALs without any sights but only 1 mag and also some generic loot, its all on the floor and i actually only found the L85 when I returned to make sure i did not miss anything, very lucky. 3rd time no luck :(

carrying the l85 with the TWS scope in first person will be torture.

My solution: Every single attack, either from a zed or gun caused causes shock ( i know it excists) but this time getting hit once from a zed makes you go into shock ( for like 1 minute) and being chased by zeds for like 1 minute causes you to go in shock( once all killed, no aggroed zombies, it goes away for this instantly) and when in shock make bodies last for 2 minutes in game after log off ( normal no shock has a timer of like 3 seconds) so if someone quits the body is still there for quite a while, logging off while in shock should never happen and i think the 5 minute timer is not enough.

I was in the large barn( the long one that has those horse/cow rails inside) and i got spotted form a zeds that not only just randomly spawned but spotted me from outside and there were TWO walls between me and it. Thankfully this only happened once but one thing that keeps on happening AND IMO IS MUCH more important than any anything else and should be fixed/sorted immediately is the zombies spawning right in front of you when you just killed 1 other zombie or just they just randomly spawn( zombies spawn in a town when your near, that's ok but having some spawn like 5 feet away from you in the middle of the town once you entered is too messed up) I understand its an alpha and i understand this new type of zombies has caused some problems but i do hope you focus more on this issue.

Yea the game does feel a bit too lonely without the side chat, no much of an issue but would prefer it as i had some very amusing chats with people, also good to get updates on the server.
