I have made about 9 new friends playing this game. I think it is fine the way it is. Maybe you aren't making enough effort to be sociable. -
It really should have a confirmation dialogue.

I have noticed a problem with both kills not registering, and bodies disappearing far too quick. Someone shot at me from about 300m away, I spotted him and managed to drop him, but by the time I got to his body it was gone. It didn't register as a kill, yet I saw he died with blood spurting out all over him. I have also noticed that when a player dies and disconnects the bodies disappears too. This is in particular is becoming a problem as more players realise this and immediately disconnect when they die.

I don't think your centralized system is working out too well. I really think a decentralized system would work better. Cheaters are gonna cheat. People are hacking the centralized system already. A decentralized system would work better. Cue the flamers. All you really need is to authenticate a user, not authenticate every change in inventory. You can still ban people. -
I think a reverse bandage melee type attack would be cool, so if you sneak up behind someone you can do a silent kill, just use the same mechanism as applying bandages but have it reduce health instead of increasing it. Can call it garrote or something.

I have noticed a drop too of about 50%. 1.5.8.3 was great, somehow 1.5.8.4 adding support for more than 1,000,000 characters has broken it again?

I logged out at the northern barracks at the NW airstrip, I was alive and well. When I logged back in I seemed to start a new life. Tested it twice, went there logged out, when I logged in I was on a new life.
