The Most Intense Moment of my Gaming Career

I heard a few go off, i'm not sure what they were, what server were you playing on? -
The Most Intense Moment of my Gaming Career I ran through the military base in Stary Sobor, ducking from tent to tent, when I heard sporatic gunfire; it was VERY close. I hid in the nearest tent, where I found my first backpack, the 24 slot coyote bag. I grabbed my prize and waited for the coast to be clear. I ran to the trees above Stary and got into position to stalk my prey. With my trusty FN FAL w/ night scope, I scanned the city, looking for a target. Unfortunately, after about 15 minutes with no sightings, I was ready to call it a night. That was when I saw the flashlight beam in the distance. At first I was confused; no one could possibly be using a flashlight to navigate in Stary, right?! But upon further inspection, my suspicions were confirmed. There was a group of three headed my way. They crossed the road and ran into a field to the left of the military tents while I was taking position to fire from the trees above. I zeroed in on the first target's chest, the player at the front of the column. I fired. He hit the floor, I see the confirmation of the kill in the lower left corner and watch blood gush from his still-warm body. I have no time to celebrate, however, as I dropped the next target with a well-aimed bullet to the abdomen. One more shot on the ground and he had joined his friend in the afterlife. Amidst the confusion, I'd lost the third bandit, and I knew there was know way to loot those bodies unless his was one of them. I stalked to my left around the city into some more shrubs and once again began scanning with my night-scope'd FAL. There he was, prone, lying there, protecting the bodies of his fallen comrades. It was a noble act indeed. One that was sadly rewarded with a bullet to the forehead. Four Bullets, three kills, and all my first confirmed kills as a bandit. And I ran off into the darkness to collect my new weapons and gear, heart still pounding through my chest, counting my lucky stars I had made it out alive. The bandits had two m-4 cco's, one of which i took. They had an FN FAL night-scope and an 870 shotgun with flashlight. They had a gps, lots of mags for my m1911, and many different misc. gear, which I gladly relieved them of. My only regret was that I could not carry more. If youre reading this, MrOctagon from the texas server I was playing on, I left your bodies so you can get your gear back :D

I just had someone disconnect about a half hour before this happened! Infuriating lol. I've always wanted to provide overwatch for a squad as I'm pretty good at sniping, but just never had the team to do it. -
Post your loadouts

Since the game is supposed to be extremely realistic, I really don't like the way zombies can find you no matter where you run once you have aggro'ed them. If I were to fire a rifle from behind cover IRL, the zombies would hear me, sure! However I believe they should just go and search the area the shot came from, and if they can find me, then aggro! Maybe this would be only past 50 yards or so, whatever works. At night, you could even fire from anywhere you wanted to(not from cover) and still have hope of eluding the zeds. Fire, move to a different spot, fire again. I guess it could probably lead to zombies being much easier to deal with, but if this were a real zombie apocalypse and I wanted to get into a building. I wouldn't just run straight past all of the zombies into the building where they're much easier to kill, that would expose me to a lot of unnecessary risk. Thanks for reading.

Thanks guys, I'm sorry I'm not the best at keeping up with the new updates, as I don't know where to read it. I'm sure a simple google search will fix that problem though. :D

I don't have NVG's and I never have, although the prospect of finding them is really exciting to me. Until then, I have to be more careful! Think of how satisfying it'd be to loot a dead body with them or to find them in the barracks; I can only imagine. Sure some people have them, and if they'd like to play on nighttime servers that's fine, I'll stick to my day/night serves. Plus, if a zombie apocalypse did happen, people WOULD have these devices, they're fairly common in the USA(not sure about "Chernarus"). And people would have to make the decision whether to travel at day or under the cover of darkness.
