As it is working right now, your arma character's eyes are working like low end cameras, completely unable adapting to ambience light. Dusk and dawn are the worse moments of the day, making everything black or white depending which direction you are facing. Even at noon things aren't easy, since it feels like you are directly watching the sun even if slightly aiming down. HDR is cool and adds a touch of realism, but as it is set now it's simply too much, blinding you even in low light situation or facing the wrong direction while in the deep of woods. To me it has to be tweaked and reduced, what do you think?

As far as I know there are veichle state issues in current dayz version (not that they ever worked properly) -

Having a working beta installation involves a few more steps than simply patching with beta files. I am sure you will be able to find an Arma II beta client install guide for dummies somewhere on the forums, otherwise google is your friend -

CASPAR! WE NEED YOU! how does he dare going to vacation while server has to be updated, damnit! :lol: anyway I fixed my pc, spent 70€ for a 900W Antec HCG 900, it is so silent I can't tell if my pc is running I think this has been one of my best hardware upgrades so far -
Why do you think it would? Zombie simly have to keep spawning around players and disappear when they leave the area, this just have to happen to some extent while in the woods

Change the "has been killed messages"

To me kill messages simply has to be removed They sure come in handy when you want a kill to be confirmed, but it really detracts from the experience. For esample we never had them on de10 -
The only problem is that anyone who has a map on your server can see everyone's markes

I always wondered myself I'd also lile being able to change skin, arma has so many civiliabs skins it feels like a waste not using them at all -
Just do it, and if anyone comes complaining tell them to go fuck themselves

It's rumored that only duped tents (or simply any tent not looted from a server generated lootpile) become empty after a server respawn Anway congrats for the offroad pickup find, I've been looking for one forever :P
