Cheers! :) I sent them to the job section of this site, but never heard anything back from anyone. I guess they weren't interested. To be fair, they are pretty rough mock-ups. It'd be a cool job to have. Beats being unemployed anyway...haha I am still composing away. I'm hoping to get involved with some indie projects if I can figure out where to start promoting myself a bit.

When I see a post like this now...I automatically wonder "Is this a WarZ dev just trying to stir up more shit?" I think that DayZ in-game paranoia has made me deeply cynical about humanity...

I saw no indication that it was admin abuse. Everything in that video is based on assumption. I'd imagine if the admins were hacking and that was really their camp, they would have had much better gear there than they did.

I don't get it...

New spawns don't 'rage quit' the server because they haven't lost anything but 30 seconds of their life... They leave the server because they realise that there is a loser on a hill somewhere picking off unarmed people because they have no balls. Do you really think people should voluntarily line up for you to grief them? Are you really that dumb? Sorry...That was a dumb question. ;)

Are you 12 years old or something? Is reality just a bunch of overused, shitty memes to you? The server admin had just reset the server because it was under attack from hackers. When it had been reset, our clan and the servers clan were travelling south together and found the truck, which was hacked in and was full of weapons that were hacked in too (or at the very least duped), regardless of whether they are in the mod (which I was aware of, smart arse). We destroyed them to stop people griefing with them. We could have taken them if we'd wanted to. At the end of the day, the guys running the server and the dedicated community of that server have a duty to keep the environment fair for all the people playing in it. So fuck off with your shit memes. Most experienced players of dayZ are getting tired of dying to hackers, or people using hacked in weapons like the thermal AS50 to camp and grief people. They should start banning anyone that uses them.

He also mentioned he has a thermal scope AS50, which isn't in the mod. It's a hacked weapon. If he somehow got it from a hacker, he should do the honourable thing and put it on a zombie's body and bury it. We found a truck full of satchel charges, rocket launchers and ACOG M16s on our favourite server and blew it all up with one of the satchel charges. Do the right thing and remove that crap from the game. DayZ has enough issues without adding to them. Trying to rationalise it by saying "I didn't hack it in, so it's cool for me to use it!" doesn't hold any weight. It's just as bad.

http://youtu.be/m7s6D0HBsdI I composed a fairly creepy trip-hop style song a while back, and thought it might make a cool soundtrack for a DayZ trailer, so I put this together. It is supposed to show the general progress from a unarmed survivor to a fully kitted out soldier/survivor. :)

The guys from PCGamer seemed pretty impressed, he was trying to 'break it' by moving his head around quickly and he said he couldn't...I guess it is the sort of thing you would really need to try, but when the guy has Gabe Newel and John Carmac backing him, I'd say that he is really onto something. As far as I can tell, the main unit has been made and works perfectly. It just needs to be put into an aesthetically pleasing package and mass produced....and of course be supported in game engines. I think it would be perfect for DayZ. Peaking around corners, watching your back, peering over things...

Really? No one wants a completely immersive, true 3D, full human field of view, free-look, experience of this game? I find that hard to believe...
