No DevBlog this week but here is some screens

Could it look more aesthetically pleasing? Of course, much more. Am I really concerned about it? Nope... Then again, I am gonna assume that the reason they aren't focusing on how the UI looks is because they have been busy making sure it is functional...You know, like you would expect a logical development would progress... -

I'm surprised that more people aren't concerned that Prague has been evacuated because of the extreme weather...The whole city is flooded and that is where BI are based...People are dying... -

For myself, there has been plenty of information. I don't really need any more. I'm just patiently waiting for a release. I imagine that it's not easy to be creative when you have a bunch of needy, ungrateful bitches nipping at your heels everywhere you go... I really hope that Everest helped clear the cobwebs...Rocket, if you are reading this...any time any of the 'community' crap starts to get you down, bring your mind back to the roof of the world...Rise above it. ;) -

Turmeric Health Benefits MSI Funded Paper: Potential Health Benefits of Turmeric So far, in clinical trials it has been shown to be as effective as 14 pharmaceutical drugs related to cancer, strokes, neurological disorders, basically anything that is related to inflammation, or viral and bacterial infections. It has been objectively shown that it makes cells resistant to disease. A kilo of Turmeric costs about £4...Big pharma is worth billions. The only reason this information is now filtering down to the public is because big pharma have managed to make a 'drug' from the compound in turmeric (curcumin) that they are able to patent. How much do you reckon their drug is going to cost? Big pharma has been trying (and failed) to get turmeric reclassified as a controlled substance for the last 30 years. They have known about what a powerful 'medicine' it is for at least that long. Indian medicine has known about it and sworn by it for about 4000 years. I used to have chronic health issues and tried everything. Nothing worked until I tried turmeric and I haven't been sick once in nearly 3 years. No colds, no flus, sore throats, chest infections, stomach bugs....Both my sister and my brother in law are doctors and they both acknowledge it's health benefits as it is now being clinically trialled in hospitals here in the UK for cancer, strokes and neurological conditions. It's also widely publicised, just use google. -

You should supplement your diet with the spice turmeric, it is one of the most effective anti-inflammatory available, and it is a product of nature. It's also highly antibacterial, antiviral, and is preventative against dementia and also cancer as well as a ton of other medical conditions. All backed up by science and peer reviewed studies too. -

I almost got excited about the release of GTA V (even though it hasn't even been announced for the PC yet!!), then my friend brought up DayZ and I instantly lost enthusiasm for it (GTA V!)... DayZ has ruined my enjoyment of most other games...I really hope it makes it's June release...Patience has never been one of my strong points. -

Everest: Climbers Steck and Moro in fight with Sherpas Rumour has it, it was an argument about which is better, DayZ or WarZ...Rocket causing trouble at the roof of the earth! -
Rocket should really get his hands on a dev kit for Oculus Rift and get DayZ stand alone support for it as soon as possible. I imagine that it would be the ultimate experience of the game! PCgamer demoed it and are saying it is as good as they have heard...DO WANT! http://www.pcgamer.c...-heard-is-true/

Oh shit yeah!! Can we have achievements like 'backstabbing shit!" and "murderous bastard!" and an unlock system that is even more drawn out than the one in Battlefield 3 as well?? Like f2p levels of grinding just to unlock the scope I prefer?? Oh man...That would be so awesome... -

I just pretend there will never, ever, ever be another dev blog again...Then when one comes out it is a really pleasant surprise...Then I go back to never expecting one again... It's kind of the same thing that I do with Half Life episodes... -

Does no one see the extreme irony in the fact that RC built himself up by being a fairly extreme 'fangirl' of the DayZ mod? That's the only reason any of us have even heard of him... So arguably, they are the biggest 'fangirl' posting here...and whinging because they aren't getting special privileges over the rest of us....Then accusing us of raging on the forums for pointing out how pathetic that is... hahaha...oh dear. -

What I'm getting from the tone of his latest posts here is he is throwing a tantrum because he hasn't been invited to take part in the closed alpha and has to wait a couple more months while they work out server issues and create more content while Rocket is away climbing Everest. -

Between your choice of text and your cringe worthy 'catchphrase', I'm left wondering if you are just trying to give everyone a headache... I played DayZ from pretty early on. I haven't played the mod since the SA was announced, neither have most of my buddies that I played with. I guarantee than when the SA is released we will be first in line to get it. It really doesn't matter how long it takes to come out, though obviously the sooner, the better. The reasons for the current delay are solid. WarZ (a game you very vocally bitched about and that is probably the only reason anyone knows who you are) was rushed out the door in an incomplete state, with no hack protection, basically none of the features it promised, crappy optimization, visuals, etc. etc. But now you are complaining because Rocket isn't doing the very thing you called WarZ a scam for? Pull your head out of your ass and stop with the (seriously) cringe worthy tagline/catchphrase/whatever....Wind your neck in. -

I'd imagine that all weapons will be visible, whether they are melee or not, and they will also have an arming animation, so it won't be instant like certain other games we won't mention...Bandaging has animations, and so does eating, so having hot keys is essentially like having stuff easily accessible without even having to go into your inventory, which is ingenious really. If I have stuff in my pockets, or even in the top of a backpack, side pockets of pack etc. they would be quickly accessed, so it isn't unrealistic. The idea of pushing a key to aim sounds excellent to me as well. It could make identifying friendlies a lot easier, while still keeping the tension. It's shaping up really well by the sounds of it. :) -

Surely all they would need to do is to have an always on function on the mic so that any voice coms are detected by DayZ, whether they are intended for DayZ or not. -
Even though I almost always use iron sights, sometimes (quite a lot of times really) when tackling groups of infected, it's handy to be able to have the option of firing from the hip. Removing it might make some encounters unnecessarily difficult. In my experience, most murders happen when you are looking at your map, fiddling with inventory, gutting an animal...basically any time you are completely vulnerable and the cowardly fucks can kill you without fear of retaliation.

Cheers! I take it I have to sign up there then and submit the music somewhere? I guess I'll figure it out haha

Cheers! Does anyone know what 'github' is or how I would go about submitting the music to it? R4Z0R49 said I was welcome to submit the ideas there, but I have no idea what that is...A quick search of google left me even more confused.
