See thread title, I know the last patch was released quite a while ago but I keep getting the feeling there is something awfully wrong with zombie agro right now. Every time I try to stealth around, proning over the ground and avoid all zombies I somehow agro them from miles away, but the moment I stand up and start sprinting around every zombie just ignores me and doesn't give a phuck. I can sprint trew entire towns without agroing a single zombie yet I can't prone trew the outskirts without getting a entire mob chasing me down. Shouldn't it be the other way around for obvious reasons?

Why not? It destroys the authentic feel if I am forced to sprint around to avoid agro rather than prone around (which doesn't serve a purpose then). -

The problem isn't that the patch is late, the problem is he doesn't even bother making a post saying the patch will be delayed (for indefinite time). Let's say he would have updated that thread with "Due to unforseen issues the patch has been delayed for indefinite time" no one would care.

But if you join the same server surely you won't spawn on the beach right? Else you may aswell call this game D-Day instead of Day-Z.

Night time is great for camping as everyone goes for Stary Sobor and the Airfield, and usually you see them comming from miles away because they have their flashlight out. That is untill you meet a brightness/gamma cheater or someone with nightvision ;). -
Alt F4 is your best weapon against hackers.

Isn't the average household a father, mother and 2 children? Makes 4 bikes at minimum and could be more if one or more of them would also ride race bicycles. And I live in the Netherlands if you want to know. -

OP is right, in a reall life there would be bikes everywhere considering every household would have 2 to 4 bikes at minimum. -

Agree, but instantly terminating your client when a hacker does something should protect you. I was killed off and teleported to debug forest instantly, I terminated my client, logged on at a different server and had all my gear back even though I spawned in Berezino and my compass didn't aim to the north anymore. Not suggesting you to do this while fighting players though, in that case you are just scum. -
brb disconnect reconnect full ammo again. Really rare. Have you tried sniping in real life? Its alot harder than in this game.

But the last damage he takes is from bleeding (by a wound you inflicted) does it still count as a murder? I shot a guy just now, received a death message in the chat, was able to loot his body etc but my murder count stayed on zero.
