Then tell me so. The main thing i complained about when it comes to broken game mechanics is the skins you get. It does not at all show you who you really are (survivor, bandit, hero etc) because its to easy to get eather one.

Same here, if he hasent spotted me, i might give him a chance, but when he has spotted me its just one way or the other (alive or daed)

yes yes yes!, im a part of the problem, so are you. When 90% of the playerbase will shoot you on sight, i would rather not take the chance in loosing my 34 day old character with the best gear possible. To fix this problem (which is pretty much impossible to fix) everyone needs to be friendly. I am not going to sacrafice my beans just to "try" and stop KoS.

Lets say you are a very friendly person, GOOD. Lets say that you never shoot anyone no mather what, BAD. This psychology will get you killed over and over and over and over again. You will end up having to run all the way back to beretzino to get your beans back a couple of times a day. The only reason i would not shoot an heavily armed player is if i have an advantage over him. As an example i can say that i have an AS50 on taviana. I was sneaking around in the mountains at the east airfield. I saw ALOT of people but did not shoot a single one. Why? Because they where not a threat to me

I am aware of that. As secondarys are very weak, i usually tend to run around and if they start shooting me il just blow their head off easily. Another thing is that these situations with "drop ur weapon or im shooting ya" is with people that dosent have alot of firepower. I i suddenly run into a guy with a DMR bullets are off instantly.

At what point have i said the opposite? Yes its my desision to shoot, but lets look at a faulty game mechanic: Bandit/surivor skin. If i see a bandit, i might shoot him on sight especially because he has the bandit skin, but does that make him a bandit? Same with the survivor skin, the friendly looking survivor might just be a bandit. How do you get the bandit skin? By shooting other people. The fault here is that if you want to defend yourself by shooting back, you might kill the actuall bandit and now, you are the survivor in a costume. Also, humanity resets after death (if im not mistaking), which means that you might be a bandit in a survivor costume. And then the hero suite, you get that by being nice. Now you might also get it bye continiously giving bloodbags to your mate and suddenly you are a bandit in a hero suit

This pretty much forces you to go in groups, unless you want to get fucked long way up your buhole by a makarov while you have 2000 blood. Im a lonewolf, and will mostly continiue with that.

I have a couple of questions First, whats the main difference between this and regular DayZ? Secondly, why on EARTH would you increase the damage of the zombies when they are in this state. They are buggy, very hard to hitt with both pistol and axe and hitts you true a wall. I have been killed after 10-15 hitts by a zombie when i had full blood. Idiotic if you ask me. Please make it the same as regular DayZ

Now, this has to be the wierdest hacker i have ever met. Its a while since i have been hacked, so i dont know if this is new or has been around for along time but anyways. I was playing on DE 1037, when suddenly their "monky" debug bar started flashing, and in bottom right corner it said something like " monky anti-hax and hacker: drew", not exactly sure about that one. Suddenly, we all got teleported to the wilderness, funny how not a single shot was fired even tough there was like 30 people running around like crazy. Suddenly, the screen started blinking, and i started jumping up and down and in the middle of the screen therer was : OPPA GANGNAMSTYLE!!! OPPA GANGNAMSTYLE!!! OPPA GANGNAMSTYLE!!! OPPA GANGNAMSTYLE!!! OPPA GANGNAMSTYLE!!! OPPA GANGNAMSTYLE!!! OPPA GANGNAMSTYLE!!! I tried to leave, but before i even got to click abort i got a message saying "no quitting ;)". I ended up ALT-F4. All i can say is DAFUQ WAS THAT???

Hey all Ever since Valve updated Arma 2's library something something, i havent been able to use Steam to launch DayZ. First off all, the "Launch Combined Operations" button is GONE, but running Arma 2: OP seems to run Arma 2 with it. But even with the right commands in launch options, it DOSENT WORK. Secondly, there is this Arma 2: OP Beta that has been floating around for a while in my libarary, i manage to get DayZ running, but i cant get it to run both Arma 2 and OP, which means i cant join any games. Is there a spesific command that im forgetting? Anyone else getting this? I know that i can use DayZ commander so DONT TELL ME!

Iv got pretty much the same as you except for a GTX 670. Runs flawless while in the Woods, but in the big citys it can drop a bit

Hey First i want to say that iv got 5mbps, so i KNOW its not enough, anyways i want to ask how much would be recommended for a public server :) Also heard that its a bit CPU related the lag, so my 3770k would be fine i guess Also, what if i just sat up a server for me and some friends, would that require much?
