Friendly fire should remain on at all time. But having the ability to form a group with a group leader would allow players to capitalise on the squad system that arma already offers.

That's the main debate across nearly every suggestions. In my opinion banding together means 5-10 peoples you can trust with your life, and fuck everyone else. I firmly believe you would rarely see groups accepting strangers, unless the stranger somehow prove his intentions in a large demonstration of trust, and if he was given the occasion to do so. -

I understand the concept very well, but i believe that morale is tied to a social construct which doesn't exist anymore in DayZ.

Yes, but that's by other players, not the game designers, that's what makes it so interesting.

Well you have to understand everyone, after a while you get tired of seeing the same suggestion over and over and over, there is like 3 suggestions on poisons where the topic title is nearly identical. My sugegstion would be to ditch the suggestion forum for a bug/suggestion tracker that allow easy merging and flagging of duplicate reports.

Then server admins will use the server logs to kick whoever killed them and invent a valid bullshit reason to do so "hacking suspicion, etc..." -
What is the point to post a suggestion the mod author will never implement? This is a suggestion forum, not a community project, an idea being popular doesn't mean it will be implemented, this isn't a democracy.

The inventory requirement for guns is in place to prevent you to carry all the weapons you would ever need. It forces you to make a choice.

The inventory system is an heritage of arma, in arma you pick one or more guns and the ammo you wish to transport. For this kind of gameplay it works fine. Arrowhead added the backpack system to allow soldiers to carry more ammunitions, that's a functionality from ace that they implemented basically
