Who pay decide? You never paid taxes did you? Lets leave PVE to WarZ. They will do that just fine. So how about we focus on what DayZ is, instead of what it isn't?

How about we all play the same game for a change, instead of scattering around withall the: I (do not) want 3rd person. I (do not want) want nametags. I (do not want) want pvp. I want fast zombies. I want slow zombies. Here they only serve it with pickles, tabasco AND special saus.

At the risk of repeating myself, how about for a change we leave the burger king "have it your way" mentality? Games, like movies, books and paintings are pieces of art before being a way to milk you of your hard earned cash. Just let the devs do what they envision, this is not a collective project, we make SUGGESTIONS, not demands. Just because the community want something, doesn't mean it will be, that's bullshit consumerism mentality. "Baawww i want an icecream mommie" "No, you eat your fucking vegetables and you stop crying."

Beandollar! Where food coupons become money :D The reason people want money or currencies ingame is to be able to compress their wealth in a wallet. Learn to manage your backpack better, sorry.

There is also a BIIIG plus to "old" code. Old code work, it's stable and mostly bug free. Tossing everything and starting over is insanity.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate but what do you envision players to do with barb wire, beside blocking areas they want to keep for themselve? ANy structure building mechanic will lead to loot blocking. That's the most profitable way to use it.

Classes in this game are sort of stupid, do you see yourself in a specific role for the entire duration of the current life? I don't. And BF3 classes are not classes, they barely qualify as "flavor" kits.

There hasn't been a single game in the entire video game history that managed to successfully prevent ESP hacks and you expect this one to do it? -
You aren't ment to stay at the "top" for more than a few hours. In this game, life expectency is simmilar to the one in roguelike games. Better gear doesn't protect you, you still die as quickly from a makarov to the face. Leveling systems are stupid, it sadden me to see that lots of players today are unable to play, even a team based game if there is no element of grind/leveling. So now the addicts DEMAND marketing teams to fuel the addictive behavior they created... great. Grinding and addictive mechanics are the laziest, most half assed way to make an entertaing game. Actually your game doesn't even need to be good these days, simply highly addictive.

How is it not strategic to do that, what else you expect them to do "strategically" ? Graphical tearing is due to low fps in vsync off, get your vocabulary right.

That's bullshit statement, it's like saying Valve's source engine is still IDTech2 (quake 1 engine) and can never do more than that.

Beyond the obvious threat of blacklisting from the Hive, i would like to point out that, even if the dayZ dev team doesn't have any "physical means" to regulate provate hives. Those servers that run unofficial hives are using a piece of software (the dayZ mod) outside of the end user license agreement. Anyone in good standing with battleye is allowed to play, but in order to host a server, hive connected or not, you have to accept the hosting conditions. Technically, all the private hive servers are in violation. -
Yeah you really think the devs have time to waste having two separate versions of the game? If it was the other way around, aka DayZ was a PvE game and peoples where whining for having it pvp, we wouldn't be having this discussion since i wouldn't be playing in the first place. The game is something. This something isn't what you wanted from it. You picked the wrong game.

That's not the issue, why not taking this game for what it is, instead of systematically wanting to have things "your way".

Play another game? Non PVP Zombie games are legion, why come to the only one doing things differently, only to want to play it like every other zombie games?

Present me an unbiased scientific study that say that human muscles are somehow poisonous to human being or stop talking out of your ass and making up conclusions to backup a societal taboo. So far the only reason i can find is that it's murder and most societies won't allow it. The fact that a person can carry a disease is irrelevant. It's like saying that eating beef is dangerous because of the mad cow disease. -

I'm allright with canibalism in a survival situation. In a desparate situation you stuff yourself with whatever proteins you can get your hands on. -
From a game designer standpoint i find this topic pretty insulting. It's like gamers pretty much think that everything has to do with the game engine used and that the people behind the game are basically incompetents that need a pre made engine to do anything. Pre made engines are a convenience and a gain of time, but they are really not what makes or break the game.
