OK you want a logical reason why this idea sucks here you go! IF you were to find a generator in a world without electricity and was able to get it running would you really want to waste all of the fuel playing VIDEO GAMES. Have you watched the walking dead series? if not the group comes across one of the disease control buildings (can't think of what they actually called it). This building had like over 100 generators inside it and the building was on like extreme power saver mode and it only lasted like a couple months using only the power that is necessary. Now tell me would you waste even a drop of that fuel that is keeping you safe from zombies TO PLAY VIDEO GAMES! i rest my case.

i did read your post and instead of banning someone for alt f4ing just put a logout timer because banning for that is just plain stupid.

in my opinion keep the feature till the standalone comes out because without that feature people that have just been killed will just respawn and run to their body and get their loot back. Also it's not like you have to hide the body. What i think would be a cool alternative is to make an option called drag body when someone dies and you can hide it somewhere yourself.

getting rid of third person would most likely cut down on the number of players that play this game. I for one like to play in third person and would not enjoy the game as much if it restricted my playstyle.

i would sit in the train with a gun and kill whoever enters! it would kinda be cool if you could find crashed trains that drop medium value loot. It would be like a crashed heli but not as good.

no, this would get rid of the realism of the game. like the guy above said I don't think sniping a survivor would make you run faster.

if this is implemented into the game the only thing it would be used for is a better sniping location. I'm sure you had good intentions for this,but that's not how other people would use this.

or you could just make it if you disconnect for any reason alt f4, DC, or normal disconnect it has a 10 second timer?

are you kidding me! seriously people stop suggesting crap like this that you know for a fact will NEVER be introduced into a great game like DayZ. Why in the hell would you sit in a bunker and play video games I mean seriously. In an apocalypse I would rather be collecting food and weapons rather than eating all of my food playing video games. If Rocket even gave these topics a second look and i'm sure he doesn't and accepted all of these dumb ideas this game would have no weapons at all, no zombies, and you would have to shit and piss, etc!

when you talk in direct chat and your also on skype it makes an echo because of voice lag.

so i was wondering, does using alt f4 even save your life because if someone shots you and your unconsious bleeding and you alt f4 won't you just spawn on a different server unconsious and bleeding? If so whats the point?
