Vilayer managed game servers, new Mod options

Vilayer decided to move our Australian server to the US without us even knowing and shutting it down for over a week without notice. Needless to say we canceled the service. Paying for a service that was down 25% of the time is very ordinary business. Sorry to jack the thread. -
Not really a "Hunting" rifle then is it. Kinda turns into a Lee Enfield then. But I like the idea of scope adding and so forth.

DayZ commander is way way better than SL. I don't know if this is coincidental but I don't get any where near as many stuck on loading with commander as I did with SL. Just so you know your gear is attatched to your CD key, not the program your running it with. -

We rolled back our server to .4. Only issue is putting up with graphic glitches but everthing else seems sweet. -

Interesting, we did the same thing and I guess because we where so used to us pings (250) We assumed the server was here due to pings around the 30-40 mark. I do remember when we ordered it just said Adelaide routed, the site never said the server was IN Adelaide so I don't now. -
Moderator Notice: User was suspended for this post. So I'm doing some research into ways hacking works and the like and I come across this (insert random hax site here) Do the Devs know about this? I guess they would. It's sites like this that wreck great games! Why play if your just going to take out any sort of skill base?

Yep deleted the link, sorry didn't think before I slapped that in. It wasn't hard to find, it was the first thing in Google, you have to pay for it which I think is strange. All the hacks and scripts out there yet there is some dude asking for money to hack a game only to get you banned. I started out by reading some forums as to how players get around Battleye to run this sort of thing. I encountered my first legit hacker last night which amazed me he could play in the server like anyone else yet do what he did. I know that's why its called hacking but yeah if you don't understand it how do you try to prevent or see in happening.

I've heard of this before, There was a Youtube video out with the same thing. An NPC runs up to the truck, climbs in and just sits there looking straight ahead. They shoot the NPC and it falls out the truck and has no loots. This one wasn't in a ghillie tho, just normal clothing. It would creep me right out tho if I seen it. -

Hey guys just had this player bb404e19fd379c09b7e8711de68d7e21 teleport in, shoot up some of our guys, grab our bus and teleport out. It happened 09:30 server time. The guy took 3 50 cal rounds and kept going. Then when the bus vanishI though eh, hacker. Unlucky for my friend still in the bus he got stuck in the ground... add him to your list chaps. Cheers

Suggestions for the DayZ standalone - thinking outside of the limitations of an Arma 2 mod.

Would be a cool idea to be able to find mods for weapons. Things like scopes, barrel/ suppresor kits and fully automatic kits. So you could kit out your G17 into a suppresed, holo, fully automatic zombie killing machine or stick a ridiculous scope onto that revolver. -
Barn between Vybor and the NW/AF. There is also a nice hill outside of Vybor that is handy if you have a 50cal.
