I have latest everything, followed the instructions and still have a black loading screen for 20 mins. I'm on 1.7.2.5 and 95883. Six Launcher appears to be completely knackered - showing the server as 1.7.2.4 and Beta 95660 even though I know it isn't (I updated the server files myself). Then, going in through steam and filtering to the server says I need 1.62.95883 ???

Get me a fix for: * All my items vanishing from my tent when the server restarts * All my vehicles vanishing when the server restarts And i'll be playing the game again.

Server is fine - I'm admin on it and double checked. Seems to just be some sort of bug. To date, I'm unable to loot anything other than cows and rabbits for meat and thats if the animal doesn't vanish when I get to it (whilst its still alive).

Its defo still happening for me - as well as all the items in my tents vanishing with a server restart. Ugh.

So, I now run my own server - mainly out of sheer frustration at how some of you admins went about your thing and I am yet to experience any glitches, server hangs, restarts outside of my control or anything similar. Perhaps I'm lucky? I think I've been on one too many servers run by admins who simply do not care for their 'free loading' players and sit there, finger poised over the kick button. I like to restart manually - with warnings at 10, 5, 2, 1 and when I actually log to do the restart - and the only time I get a response is from players requesting more time. I have actually cancelled restarts for players and give extra warnings when I see new players joining that hadn't seen previous restart warnings. I like to be there and get a feel for what the players want. I am also yet to ban or kick a single player (and this is from a guy who backs up server logs daily and actively searches out hackers). Even today, I found 2 dudes raiding my camp. I fired at one until he ejected from his motorbike and combat logged. I then found another crawling around in the forest wearing a ghillie suit after he'd ditched my UAV. Shot him a few times before he too combat logged. I didn't kick or ban them though, because I hadn't included messages which informed players I would do so but really...because until I was an admin, I combat logged on people. Live with it. Controversial. There are admins out there who would rage and ban like crazy under similarly weak instances. Combat log on me and I'll challenge you to come back and fight like a man. So here I am, considering myself more a player having fun than an admin. I don't kick or ban people for doing stuff the game allows them to do and I certainly don't look down my nose at fellow players or label them piranhas when they are the very people playing the game and keeping the community alive. Not as you admins like to think you are doing. I am supplying a server for those people keeping the whole going...the players.

Seems to have stopped happening for me now. Perhaps it only happens with certain combinations of weapons or something. Probably jinxed myself saying this.

lol thanks for the tips. Seems pointless though - as soon as the admin restarts the server everything is gone anyway and I always spam vehicle saving to be sure.

Please tell me this is unintended behavior and that it will be fixed! I spent an entire day getting together an ATV, 2 UAV's and a motorbike only for them to vanish on server restart...

Same for me - walking all around the animal looking for the sweet spot just doesn't work. Laying down, crawling all around it...everything. It simply won't let me loot the gutted animal.

I didnt have to do anything - just got a successful update of be in-game and all seems ok.

Also tried replacing the be dll's (http://www.battleye.com/download.html) and overwriting the ones at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye (both the client and server dll's). Doesn't solve the issue. Going to uninstall be and see if it will then reinstall without error. Well that didn't work - I believe it may be that, the server side battleeye files require updating?

I am having this issue also. Just got kicked with a battle eye failed to update message. Thought i'd try re-installing battle eye through steam but I get 2 missing string errors. Nothing I've tried so far seems to fix it.

Slightly old post but I am experiencing this now on a none HFB server. What was your solution or did this just sort itself out eventually?

I am going to spam by saying the same is happening to me. Im talking to my friend who is playing now - so it must just be the lookup servers.

On server US300 I am back as normal, full health and my ACOG is back. Yay. But still...ban the hackers! I should look into FRAPS as i'm experiencing allot of fishy stuff lately especially as this great game is now so popular. Update...30 seconds in and someone is honking a horn whilst attempting to shoot me through the wall <sigh> I'm afraid one of the biggest challenges which now lies ahead for the dev team is securing this game against lame cheaters. I love the game, but day by day I want to play it less.
