Unless you plan on running around ignoring weapons, you are a potential threat. I doubt anyone is going to pass up arming themselves in this game, so they die. Last time I let someone live, they gave me a sniper bullet in the back an hour later. It would have taken them significantly longer to find a rifle and then find me if I had just shot them in the first place.

Who the fuck do you think you are to expect people to trust you, a random stranger, with their (virtual)life? The only ones who don't shoot on site are the RPers and the idiots. I don't care if all you have are empty bottles... The closer you are to me, the more danger I am in. The closer you are to the shore, the safer I am. Luckily, I am usually carrying a pack full of one way trips to the shore.

There is one glaring flaw in this: In real life, people don't come back to life. There are many things associated with this, but the biggest one is that it is MUCH easier to kill someone after being killed yourself. No matter what the consequences, once it happens to you, you stop caring.

Yeah, just replace whatever you take with something of equal value. I picked up an m1911 and an AK with 5 mags and replaced them with my Makarov.

Need to be able to stack the ammo... Either that or retrieve used bolts from the body. Totally useless as it is now.

If I was looting cherno, I would make damn well sure that if I see someone else, they die. It isn't like he was just going to let you see him and hope you don't attack him. It is much safer to kill you, loot, and get out of there. Also, you got tricked by an idiot who gave himself away. He claimed to be new to the game, but at the same time found it peculiar that his character had a bandit skin, after describing it in a way that made it seem like he didn't know what bandits were.

Meh, I don't see why I should put my well being in SOMEONE ELSE'S hands. The guy who didn't see me that I let live could be the same guy zeroing in on my back an hour later. He could choose not to shoot me, but guess what? I would prefer if he didn't have that choice in the first place. KILL ON SIGHT. If they want to change that, add mechanics to change that. Players can't help but kill other players when it is the best way to survive dictated by game mechanics.

Yep, this needs to be done. One bullet, a pistol, an empty canteen, and a glowstick.

While I like the idea of burying loot, I'm not going to bother making a suggestion thread. Experience has taught me that the suggestion section is pretty much any forum's garbage can. It would be a waste of time.

I heard some talk about a shovel, and while trying to think of what it was used for I figured it was used to bury loot. I haven't heard anything about it though so I figured I would ask: Is it possible to bury items for later retrieval?
