  1. Yeah sorry I hit post topic and 1 minute later I got tired of waiting for nothing to happen, so I hit it like 10 times. Guess that's what happens.
  2. Everyone in my group that plays about 4-6 of us at a time all experience the same graphic glitches that make locations like balota and the airfield unplayable, and more. This has been like this ever since the .4 patch weeks ago. Is anything being done about this absolutely gamebreaking wonderpatch that came out that made all the fun locations of the game literally unplayable. Seriously we don't even talk about dayz anymore or even mention it in our voice chat anymore.

  4. I suggest we should be aloud to build static defences on rooftops, there are so many buildings that would be amazing to have people up in them but they have no railings or any form of cover and alot of them have elevation on a nearby mountain or hill. If you could build sandbags around them it would atleast provide you cover from sniper fire while proned. I imagine the issue is that you could block ladders but this is a combat simulator and you can't fortify a building. Make it so the model around the ladders are of a different unbuildable material
  5. I have played DayZ for almost a month and all the fundamentals of the game are great. But I am running out of things to do, it's getting to the point where I've been there done that almost too many times and the game is starting to lose interest for me. I really love the feel when your heart starts to race when the life of you and your comrades is on the line and all of your equipment and the challenge other players can provide and the graphics and size of the world. Now that I've died however many times I've died, 50? 100, 200? I don't even and lost count. I'm running around with pretty amazing gear right now, Mk 48 nv goggles all that jazz but when I die once again it will all be from scratch, don't get me wrong when I say that because thats exactly what gives that rush feeling when you know the stakes are high and I love that. I remember watching some 40 minutes interview about rokket answering a Q&A and he spoke about instanced underground bases for players and I couldn't agree more. My group and I always try to make a camp out of tents and without fail players will find it, no matter where you place it over enough time it will be found always no matter where you place it and I disagree with this. The game is great but the longevity doesn't exist at the moment, when you have died at the airfield more than you can count and every other town and field and experienced it all it starts to dull down and you start asking yourself I don't even know where I want to go today, what is their to do for what point and purpose now. I say making a camp and storing some loot is a good focus to have but your camp will be found so it's almost pointless. I can handle losing the camp that's not the issue, I'm quite cool about losing items I never rage or even get too mad, it's just I'm at that point where there really is nowhere to put a camp because you know it will be found and emptied out and I log on and have nothing else to do but deathmatch but I have already done that for so long that eventually the game will just not have anything to bring me to play it save a little bit here and there, but not really get into it and play like I use to because I just simply have nothing to do anymore thats exciting like it use to be. I would enjoy to have a instanced underground base to store loot even if it was a limited amount of certain items to prevent total hoarding because it would give me that something to do, I say when you die the penalty is still pretty severe, I mean you lose all of your items when you die camp or no camp that question is uncontested and it gives your group a place to call home and a base of operations. I do not believe a player that runs around the wilderness deserves the items they find in a hidden tent and that's not out of hatred or rage. I quite simply believe the player has done nothing to warrant the items, they most likely did not have to kill anyone or goto the airfield or perform any dangerous tasks, they simply see a tent wait for everyone to be gone and take a huge amount of amazing items only to store their items in their camp to have their camp raided one day by another person and the cycle continues. If you want good items you should have to kill another player to get their loot or risk your life in a dangerous location like the airfield like everyone else.

    Why do you murder?

I murder because I love hunting other players, I enjoy taking their lives even if they don't have loot, those who have no loot and claim they have nothing of value to me are mistaken, your life is all I require.
  7. Sup the population of this game has increased by alot and hundreds of players frequenting each server and leaving vehicles lost and never to be found again or hoarding vehicles outside the map. Also not enough vehicles, you can literally search all day and quite possibly never find a vehicle, gargantuan waste of time.
  8. Even if I don't empty my magazine when I log back on I lose the entire clip, is this intended?
  9. Hacker nuking server several times killing everyone. Running around with some silenced scar sniper rifle or something too. Edit: first nuke hit around anytime after 5pm pacific. june 24
