Just install the correct map version from DayZ commander. It should work. Just like BigMike said.

I found it necessary to sneak in cities and around zombies. Before 1.7.5.1 you could easily shoot zombies with a pistol, even if there were others around. They wouldn't aggro from far away. Now, if you shoot one zombie in a town with a pistol, you will aggro all other zombies from maybe 100m. Even with a pistol. It's realistic, sure, but you really can't just run 'n' gun through towns anymore. Looking forward to the other new and fixed stuff that I haven't tried out yet.

I overclocked my i5 2500k from the default value to 4,2Ghz. I did not touch the voltages at all. My processor cooler is Scythe Mugen 3, and my processor is running <30c idle and 50-60c while playing. I got no problems at all. So there is something wrong with your processor probably.

1. More zombies. 2. Make them slower. Walk speed or slow jogging is good. 3. Zombies are EVERYWHERE. Not just in cities and towns and some specific other locations, but everywhere. Yes, even in the middle of nowhere wilderness. 4. To kill a zombie, it would require 1 hit to head or +10 hits to any other body part.

This sentence refuses me to help you. You should give "normal" Arma 2 a chance.

Hard-drive doesn't affect FPS at all. It only determines how long the load times are, when it has to load up the map and other stuff. I have a 640Gb WD Caviar Blue 7200 RPM SATA HDD, which has my OS and games installed (even though in seperate partitions) and I get a good +50 FPS on all maps other than Chernarus. In Chernarus my FPS varies from 30 to 50.

Usually the hatchet bugs a little and doesn't hit the zombie i'm trying to hit which results in me taking damage from it before killing it. In the long run, this is pretty bad unless you have a friend to give blood packs to you. Or plenty of food. I still prefer a firearm as my primary weapon.

I'm starting to get the picture, that many DayZ (a.k.a dayz forum users) players are 10-year old retard kids who don't know how to type in English, AT LEAST that it is understandable.

Chernarus is a big map, filled with lots and lots of objects. A LOT of trees and grass for example. It's the same for me: Chernarus ~30-50 FPS Namalsk ~50-70 FPS (I get much better FPS on every map, besides Chernarus. Not only Namalsk). It can be the map which lags. Nothing wrong with your computer, most likely.

If you don't have a gun in your hand, you could have accidentally pressed right-mouse button once. That makes your character "aim", even though you can't see it yourself.

Arma 2 OA is, if you like war games. You might download DayZ at the same time because it's free, but you have a high risk to encounter hackers, dupers and all sorts of awesomeness. Don't expect much at the moment. If you only want DayZ, and you are not interested in Arma 2 itself, wait for the standalone.

Make both much harder to find. Don't remove them completely. Just make their spawn rate much lower.

Did I just understand this correct? You found a box which had a shit load of guns in it, you took some of them and now you want to trade them away because you feel they are ruining the game for you? 1. Why even take the fucking guns if you knew they were hacked? 2. Why not just drop them somewhere in the woods so that they will dissapear with the next restart? 3. You name this thread "Fucking hackers", yet you take advantage of them? Weak.
