I believe it flashes for like 60-120 seconds. somewhere around there. Then you lose 10 blood every second. Edit: Didnt well depends on how much blood you have. and just divide your blood by 10 and thats how many seconds you have

Got to your setting and disable your firewall then run it. Could this just be extreme lag when hitting this screen?

As said above. Make sure everything is up to date. And i agree with lowering your graphics settings to very minimal just to see if it fixes it. Have you tried running everything as admin?
