Ambient music making 101 is to never have any sounds that is in the game, or would appear to come from the game, to ever show up in your music. As a music maker, I can go onto a lot of creative branches, but you have to also remember to keep in mind how the music is going to be used and where it will be used at. I hate when I'm driving down the road listening to music when I suddenly hear a police siren only to realize it's a part of the song. That kind of stuff can make someone slow down suddenly and potentially cause an accident. In this game, it can cause you to suddenly move to check behind you which could give your position away to a bandit (movement against the terrain), or to disregard certain sounds only to find out it really was a bandit.

Some people may also want to prevent other people from getting supplies. It's only a matter of time before it respawns, of course. I always take what I need for any situation + 1 additional for backup. Saves me a trip after I have to use some supplies. -
Agreed there. Ingame sounds in ambiance just is not a good idea. Every time I hear that fence I quickly turn around looking.

I support PVP, however, I really do think it needs to have some sort of built-in control mechanism. Someone shooting others to get their stuff is okay. Someone sitting up on a hill and just sniping any average joe to passes by 300 - 500 meters away with the sole intention on ruining someone's gaming experience and has no intention on even needing the gear off the bodies, is not okay. There are bandits, and there are trolls. Trolls need to go. Also, is bandits even working in this mod? I constantly have to defend myself against "Shoot first"ers and if I kill them, it has counted as a murder so far 100% of the time. -
I get a lot of random zombie aggros where I can be perfectly still and prone and not bleeding or breathing loudly and a 50m away zombie comes running at me. Sometimes the game just bugs out. However, one thing that some people should take note is that zombies have a LOT of aggro towards breathing. If you're running into town and then begin to stealth your way in, ensure that you first stop and catch your breath so you're not breathing loudly anymore. Additionally, I run a three person group now. We have one axeman for stealthy kills if we get zombie aggro, a gunner guard that escorts the axeman, and a sniper who stands on a hill and overlooks the area looking for any trouble that the 2 in the dangerzone might run into. Immediate threats are put down. Potential threats get 1 audio and written warning, and non-threats we let go.

I was in Elec (Elek?) with 2 friends. I'm the designated scout so as they look for target buildings to look for supplies, I keep an eye out. We're a friendly bunch but we know just how unfriendly cities can be. As we were moving slowly through the city, one of my crazy Ivans (scheduled turn around glance...kudos if you caught the reference) spotted someone following us. I alerted my team and they moved to safety while I proned with my hunting rifle. He knew he was spotted so he proned as well. He kept stalking us but I kept an eye in the general direction he vanished at. I gave a verbal and written warning saying we were friendly and we'd consider him a threat if he kept following. No response. Suddenly I saw him at one of the corners of a building. Took aim, and fired a shot the same time he fired a shot at me. I nailed him in the head. He shot me but I was able to bandage myself up. He had a military sniper rifle on him.

What is screenshot button? I can't run through steam without an error, and PrintScreen doesn't copy to clipboard properly due to dual monitor setup. -
Feel free to add your own! - Military Cleanup: If a city becomes overpopulated with zombies, there is a chance that a 5 minute warning is declared throughout the city. After 5 minutes, the military bombards the city, killing anything that happens to be in the city at the time of bombardment. - Added nerves meter. The nerves meter depletes the longer you stay around zombies. Once fully depleted, your character goes into a state of panic and breaths loudly and all movement controls are reversed. Nerves refills itself if away from zombies. - Added "Slap" option. If a survivor mousewheels while within "activate" mode of a survivor who is panicking, they can slap the survivor and instantly refill their nerves. - Progression System: Once every 4 hours, you can freshly (new character) spawn at any city you have visited in the past 24 hours. - Removed losing gear while swimming. In its place, wearing too much gear will weigh you down where you simply drown. - Added Weapon Maintenance: Items degrade over time and must be repaired by a survivor. The lower the degradation, the higher the chance that a gun will jam. A jammed gun requires 10 seconds of downtime to clear the jam. - Added /dance command - Grass grows one foot in height after an hour passes after rainfall. Maximum grass height is 5 feet - Added lawnmower: Reduces the height of grass to default height. Lawnmowers may need toolkits before they are able to start. Lawnmowers also require gasoline.

I'm RpTheHotrod. By nature I'm very friendly. I'll only shoot first if I feel you are a threat. If you're running away from my area or are unarmed, I don't shoot. If you come running in my area with a gun, I typically voice chat to stop and declare if friendly. If they keep moving towards me I take the shot while I have it. If they stop and declare friendly, I'm cautious but I won't fire unless provoked. I'll likely invite you to tag along. If I spot someone who has no chance to evade my fire, and I am safe, I typically give 3 warning shouts. If they don't respond after the 3rd warning, I take them out. Plenty of time to declare friendly. I'd never shoot first but in my experience well over 3/4 of the population I've come across shoot first. -
