I was in cherno and i went to the firestation and found ammo called 5rnd .338 lapua magnum. The ammo is supposed to be used in the L115A1 according to the ammo description. I searched on the forums and the wiki and found nothing. Does anyone know what it is? I don't think it was hacked in because I was the only one on the server and it was surronded by other stuff too.

I have no chance of conversing with anyone because my direct chat is broken and I can't see anything typed in dc, and people generally don't trust the guy who doesn't respond to what they say. to answer your above post you can lose a member to just a guy with a handgun if he catches you off guard Some people will kill on sight even if they are faced with almost certain death.

I got back from the north to the coast to meet my newly spawned friends. I met up with my first friend in the firestation in electro. we went on the roof to scope out the area so we could plan a route to find my other friend when i saw to guys on top of the firestation in electro. one guy had a hatchet and the other had a makarov and I said to my friend me: look on the firestation friend: whats the big deal to guys with crap gear. me: should i kill them friend: nah. they aren't a threat. me: ok So I aimed at the one with the hatchet and shot his legs with my DMR. His friend bandaged him up and then when he was done I shot the guy with the makarov ad hatchet man started bandaging him. after they were both done they had broken legs so I let them off the firestation and then started shooting the ground around them which both panicked them and brought a horde upon them. they were killed pretty quick since I had shot them with my DMR, but the guy with the makarov lasted long enough to kill a few zombies. after they died my friend said friend: I told you not to kill them you asshole Me: I didn't kill them. the zombies did. friend: you're fucked up Abridged version: I injured two noobs and watched them fight a zombie horde until they died.

This place is probably plagued by constant bandit raids. If i had a larger group I'd try raiding it. sounds pretty fun to do.

If you see someone in your sights wait to engage to be sure there is only one of them, and plan a good way to engage them.

I started killing on sight after quite a few run ins with people who aren't friendly. And now I kill when I get the opportunity, so I consider myself a bandit. But I got to thinking that there isn't a set definition of a bandit, so i want to see what others think (bandits such as myself in particular). in short give me your definition of a bandit.

I've been going to New Jersey every summer for years. I think a string of vacation towns, like in jersey, gone to shit would be awesome. plus a boardwalk crawling with zombies, and highways lined with abandoned cars would be cool to.

I would have kept him around, he sounds like he would be more useful alive then dead. I won't say that was bad (okay maybe a little), but it was stupid. Besides doesn't sound like he'd betray you.

If you take out people respawning it problem is around an hour, but I think noobs skew it too and people killed by bandits who like killing fresh spawns for teh lulz

Don't sped much time in towns. Get on a high ground, locate lootable buildings, and then loot them and get out. Look at an online map, some think its cheating, but I don't. learn the map and you will be able to wander around without getting lost. learn what buildings look like so you know what buildings are lootable and which ones have good loot. sprint in forests, crouch walk inbetween towns, prone in towns. keep ammo in your gear and food and water in your backpack. avoid industrial buildings like factories and warehouses unless you are trying to repair a vehicle. shoot first, ask questions never since you are new I'd avoid sniper rifles remember: while an AK-74 without ammo may seem tempting, a low tier rifle (like a lee enfield) with ammo is better. for the commonly found residential weapons the list from best to worst is: crossbow-doublebarreled shotgun-winchester-lee enfield. for shotguns if you have to choose between slugs and pellets, choose slugs. for common pistols from best to worst (opinions vary but this is my opinion): makarov-revolver-m1911 avoid the coast, but this mainly applies to anything west of electro. Listen for gunshots, and stay in cover. Remember even if a player isn't moving they may have only passed out. when you have good gear head to stary sobor and the Northwest airfield, but watch out because they are filled with bandits. avoid zombies whenever possible and most importantly have fun

I had been making my way to the NWAF in a path I took going through zelenogorsk. I was already a bit nervous, because i usually don't take this route, and night was nearing. So I kept going and once I past zelenogorsk I started hearing footsteps. So I turned around and decided to wait for the person making those steps and decided it would be best to kill them now before the light was completely gone I waited for about five minutes but no one came. I decided whoever was stepping was gone now. But they weren't. Soon after I went on my way I starting hearing foosteps again. So I said in direct "anyone there" No response So I kept going thinking I was hearing things. I considered aborting since I was practically shitting my pants, but I didn't because I was having connection problems all day and this server was working fine. So I kept going and the footsteps were getting closer, and I knew that it was someone else's for sure now. so I said "if anyone is following me I won't hesitate to shoot you" No response. I kept going and when I reached Vybor I decided to look through the office building for food. When I got in Vybor the weird thing was here were a bunch of dead zombies and I didn't see one single living one. So I went in the office building (footsteps still behind me) I eventually worked my way to the roof and I got on a ladder to get down, but when I was trying to get it to work I fell and broke my leg. I was considering re spawning since i had no morphine when I heard in voice chat. "Do you need help?" The voice was disembodied and the username was simply "man". I was scared and I said "um yes?" then my broken bone was fixed and my blood was fully restored. and then the voice said "your welcome" I never heard the footsteps again.

I started a new character today after getting sniped in stary, and long story short I made my way to the NWAF and found an M4A3 CCO. I was pretty excited because it is one of my favorite guns in the game. So I head out in search of more stanag rounds, and after about an hour, some hacker teleports everyone to the same area and telekills me before i can abort. Seriously! what is wrong with these people,everyone complains about bandits, but hackers are just pure scum. They ruin the game.

I recently started killing anyone with a weapon on sight. I consider myself a bandit, but I assume everyone has a different definition of what exactly a 'bandit' is. I consider anyone who kills without asking if someone is friendly, and killing without remorse. that's my definition what is yours?

I try to be nice, but I kind of get forced to murder sometimes. I generally don't trust anyone with a sniper, and if I get the opportunity to kill someone and get a really good weapon, I kill them. If I suspect someone of being a bandit I'll shoot them, and if they really aren't, I man up and move on. I know what it's like to feel betrayed, I was in cherno and saw an unarmed guy and I old him about a lee enfield in a nearby pub. I went on my merry way and later the same guy came back and killed me. I also got saved by some dude in cherno when I was unarmed and getting chased by zombies, the same guy attacked me when I found a gun. A lot of people have a kill on sight policy if someone has a weapon, and I get that I get nervous too, but you should expect someone to owe you one if you save your ass like what you witnessed.

My problem is that it doesn't single out bandits. It punishes EVERYONE.

I don't have much weapons wise, but I have an axe and a baseball bat, so I could hold them off. My one neighbor has a lot of guns, so if they died I could take the guns from them. i live in a suburb of Philadelphia, but i'd probably stay away from the city since there would probably be a lot of zombies. I'd hold out for awhile, but when supplies got low I'd try to find some semblance of a safe zone. If I couldn't I'd just blow my brains out.
