My first day playing Day Z but i think it's a average day for everyone here :D It starts with "Gonna play some ..."

I remember you server. i played there serveral times because it was loading so fast (for me like 10 sec max.) i hope your server comes back when the Hacker situation is better.

never said that it isnt an advantage and im not defending these lock-abusers.btw There aren't many of these abusers( for example i only see 2 -3 locked servers , which are connected to the hive, every day), so the effect of this is very small compared with the massive number of users which are possibly disadvantaged. it's just hacker-evading-serveradmins are being punished for things a few people do. And everybody is able to do serverhopping/positioning in advantageous spots on every server, it's not a thing that only few serveradmins with locked servers are able to do.

hey people, I've seen so many reports in the server reports forum about some servers being locked. I know of some people locking their servers to play with their friends without hackers. You know this hacker shit became rampant, so i could understand this. And also there are people locking their servers to scavenge stuff and rack up vehicles for their own ( maybe an unfair advantage). In my opinion locked servers aren't a great problem, sure there are some people abusing it, but why care about it. There are thousands of well geared people, i wouldn't care about some more server-admins with high end gear and i also don't care about server-admins which rack up all their vehicles for their own. i wouldn't play on these servers and don't care about them anymore. Atm If i had a server i would lock it too(and also i would give the password to some people i know well), because atm it's the best way to avade hackers and wait for Rocket's/BattleEye's countermeasures for these hackers. What do you think about it? ( discuss ;DDD and don't call me a carebear <3) EDIT: im pretty unsure, if server general is the right section. If not plxxx move.

in my opinion you can't say 1. if they are racking up vehicles, don't play on it. 2. if they are racking up stuff, wayne there are so many hackers, this is our smallest problem and who cares about people getting some cool stuff. they will loose it over the time. there are thousands of people finding their weapons on their own on unlocked servers. more peoplewith good stuff doesn't change anything. 3. ^this

in my opinion a redution of spawned bloodbags in medical boxes (atm 8-10 in one box) and reducing the spawnchance for medical boxes(atm 3-5 per hospital) would do it well. this would make surviving a bit harder and i guess this game should be more hardcore. btw: implementing this isn't hard and doesn't take long. i looked at the .pbo files...

you know what a jailbreak is? If you modified the files of an (iphone-)app it isnt.

that happened because of the 1.7.2.4 patch. before 1.7.2.4 you would have been spawned in debug forest , but this patch make you spawn at a respawn playe at the coast or for the lucky people in novy sobor.( it is a bug)
