Same story here, I've only just sorted a problem with my .NET to get DayZ Commander working (reinstalled windows) and still can't play lol. Someone post here if you find the servers are back up.

I like to lock down a town, if I have my squad mates on. If you wait a while someone always comes walking through and then it's up to you how you deal with that situation... Recently my friend has been running a private server from his pc without battle eye... we log on and try to fuck each other up... Recorded some footage of it and uploaded it to youtube but for some reason the audio on the recording is fecked. I recently logged on and decided I would help everyone I met and it turned out really well... met up with 2 Sweedish guys and got a base on the go haha we have continued playing to gether sincel

Low ping rate, decent broadband, decent pc ( 5.5 bases score) sooo much lag

yeah zooming causes a lot of lag, I think its because it has to load stuff at a really far render distance.... It could be the number of ppl on the server too, I know I lag bad when travelling through high pop cities in a vehicle more than running through a forest (and I think forests tax your GPU more too). -
It is no doubt frowned upon, but a good way to find a vehicle is to go to the location it is supposed to spawn and server hop.

Ive got this problem too... mic works on skype but not on arma 2... ive got a funny feeling it might be something to to with windows giving complete control of the mic to another program or something but that is just a wild stab in the dark lol

Sometimes your character will do that upon log in or something. Don't press anything just to see what way he runs then press that direction and let the button go. Your character should stop.

Yeah, if you are getting stuck on the loading screen that has the loading bar on it too, you have been kicked already. I only know this because a friend was on my server as I was trying to log in. He was eventually kicked too, but for a different #XX

There was an issue with battleye, I wasn't able to get on my server all day yesterday because of it, and I know there are a few other people on here with the same problem. Check out the server section of the forums, I think that is where the posts are.

It is battleye that is causing it. Really you have been kicked for restriction #20 or 41 or something. Ever since the battleye update yesterday there have been allsorts of issues.

I would shoot you on site, not for the weapon but because on all bar one occasion I have let people live they have either found a pistol later or an axe or something and done me in. Maybe I should have left the area as well. Plus a Hero skin counts for nothing. When the humanity was first brought back in I was at -40k. Now I am +2500, and that is not through choice, I just haven't found anyone to kill lately. I run in a group of 5 active players, with another 2 or 3 less active players and we do a lot of blooding each other etc. so my humanity shot up. I miss my bandit skin lol. -
First off these videos were recorded at night so they are a bit hard to see at times, but it is well worth it for the laughs. If you can't understand anything that is said post the time and I'll translate for you lmao :P This first video is a bit slow, we take off and land next to the coast to refuel it. This video contains the first crash, I'm so glad I just happened to be recording!

The reason you walk with a single right click is because you are technically aiming down sights, even if you don't have a gun in your hand at the time it will slow you to a walking pace. Pressing F once will show you your weapon/ammo, pressing it multiple times will cycle through your different firing modes (burst, single or full auto) and then will start cycling other equipment like smoke grenades etc. Coming back from an Alt + Tab can cause you to fire sometimes, and if you are on full auto, bye bye clip.

I found a chopper just north of the high values at the hospital in Cherno, I think it was a hackers. we were fixing it up when one of our mob jumped in it and out of it then everything was repaired so we bungled in and started flying, I was the pilot. Just as I turn my screen cap on the game crashes. One of my friends is able to bail out and chute to the bottom, the other went down with the ship, when I logged back in I was on the ground lol.... So does anyone know the number of choppers per server?

How many helicopters spawn on a server, I read that it is just 1 but I've seen 2 helis on one server.

Tent: 3 spaces Wheel: 6 spaces Engine Parts: 6 spaces Fuel Tank Parts: 4 spaces Jerry Can: 3 spaces Scrap Metal: 3 spaces (I think, maybe 2) Wood: 2 spaces Main Rotor: (Dunno) Like you man said above, primary is 10 sec 5 Can't think of anything else just now.

Was just on DE123, I had ran from just north of Elektro to quarry to meet up with a friend then out of nowhere everyone teleports to the NEAF by the looks of it, then I'm gunned down. WTF The same thing happened to my buddy that I was meeting up with except he wasn't shot upon arrival. Now I have spawned all the way to fucking Kamenka, the arse end of nowhere AND I CAN'T EVEN RESPAWN. Rage Quit! lol I had JUST found a gillie suit too. I don't mind losing my stuff what I do mind though is the fucking half hour run I've got, back to "civilization" I hope I find a zombie to let chew me to save time... FRUSTRATION!!!!! AAAAAAGGGGHGHHHHHH /vent
