I know this has been mentioned, I've yet to find a fix for it though. Currently I am plagued with this (It was all fine until I got to berenzo). I've seen suggestions such as changing graphical settings and/or resolution, and I've tried that but still nothing. Does anyone have a temporary fix please? (Please don't start whining about this issue and derailing the thread, it's alpha, these things happen) I'm in a bit of a bind though, before I logged out earlier due to this I was starving and ate my last can of food (Could not find a cow anywhere! Do they go in at night?) but I was right outside the city. I logged off and when I came back on a new server this afternoon, I was actually starving again (had ate the can literally 30 sec's before I logged, so don't have the can) but I can't get in the city because of the tearing, and I can't go anywhere else since I will starve. So, any one found any workarounds that doesn't include changing res or graphics? Thanks in advance.

If you look on wiki it shows a bunch of weapons that are inaccurate with SD ammo. They shoot higher than the dot in the holo/sight w/e

Really, there's no need for all that, at the end of the day, only one thing that matters - It's Rockets mod, he designed it, he's given it away for free, he can do what the hell he wants with HIS mod. If people don't like that? Oh well. Go play something else, just because they don't like it doesn't mean others don't. It is amusing how people seem to think they got all the statistics and analysis to back up their claims that this mod is failing.

I'm not going to take credit for this, I found it in another thread (Not going to say he came up with it either) http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/28160-guide-how-to-set-up-your-graphics-properly/ He mentions mostly obvious stuff, but there was one little thing I found quite interesting and thought I would try it out:- GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1; Now to elaborate on that, mine was set at 1000; and 3; I Changed both to 1 and wow! What a difference. This is entered in your Arma2.cfg file in your documents. (I couldn't see it in the other file like he mentioned so just did it in that) I never believed that it would actually increase my FPS THAT drastically, I thought maybe one or two, but it's smooth as hell! Previously, Arma felt "heavy" if you get what I mean by that. A slight delay in swinging the gun and aiming and even walking. I can play BF3 on ultra so I put it down to the engine of arma. In fact, out of my rather huge catalog of games, Arma is the only one that gave me lip! Anyway, I just want to point it out so that those struggling with it can try this and see how it goes. Hope this will help some of you as it did me.

It is a zombie survival game. It's also a sandbox and it's also what the player makes it to be. Just because you don't think it is, doesn't make it so. Today, I was surviving against zombies, there for, it's a zombie survival game. I am glad you can predict the future and tell that this game will fail. The cold hard facts are this, the game has gotten bigger and more popular, it's already had copycats in the works (which seems to be for the casual players, so we can get rid of those whiners) and people are buying a whole different game for this MOD. It's also becoming standalone, and I'm quite sure Rocket has more facts and figures than you could possibly ever hope to have to make some hard analysis on what's going to happen. He also wouldn't go and make this if it were failing. Even if things did remain the same, it wouldn't fail (as in gameplay, bug's not getting fixed could end up damaging it) but there are always patches being rolled out so yeah, regardless, stuff is being done. People do not understand one simple fundamental, it's a sandbox game, it is what YOU make it. Just because it fails for you (you = general sense), does not mean it fails for anyone/everyone else. Sandbox's have always been down to the player making their own enjoyment and if someone can't, the problem lies with them being one dimensional and quite frankly, a rather boring and uninteresting person but NOT the game.

Vsync doesn't fix it, I actually tried it along with every combination of graphical changes earlier :P As for the tearing, I mean all the weird shapes and shit, all brown and grey going from a point in the middle of the screen like huge triangles (making it absolutely impossible to see, not just a little bit, but completely). It's completely solid so I can't even estimate where to go by going around it. Soon as I look at the city it goes crazy. Saw another few people say it happens at that city but I won't make it back to another. And yeah, I've seen cows at night before but not the last couple of days, it doesn't matter as I found a day time server but I don't think I can play again until this is fixed as I don't want to die :( Sad that there's no fix yet then, I hope he's working on one.

What is that :o I'll be honest, I only played a couple of single player arma missions and the rest Dayz :P Yeah yeah, I'm one of those, but Arma has other shit like DayZ too? Is that a proper mod or a small area type screw around?
