Haven't played for a week or so, then yesterday I loaded up and thought I'd have a bit of fun with my character since it was fairly new. Had a double barrel and about 5 zombies running at me, aimed down sights and nothing..hammering on my mouse button and still nothing. Then all of a sudden it fires but I miss. Thought it must have been a lag spike or something, but the same for the other shots. Aimed down sight, tried to fire, nothing, hit the button some more, nothing. Had to hip fire. I switched server, ping of 15. Then it happened with an Xbow on a player. I'm sure I hit him, but he didn't die, then I aim down sights, he's right in front of me, Aim down sights, I hammer the button, nothing. A couple seconds later it fires but I missed (kinda hard to hit things when it just seems to randomly go off after a few seconds) Has something changed? Anyone else had this problem, it was fine last week (or could be the week before even) but I've been busy so not been playing or keeping up with patch notes.

No, mouse is perfectly fine. Gave up and played Bf3 after. The only thing I can think of is I forgot to shut down the six launcher, since that use to lag me, but tbh it never responded like that, just froze the game sorta every minute. I could do everything else while ADS except..fire.

I've taken short cuts too, like at work sweeping shit under the desk rather than cleaning it up properly, but I've never once, EVER wanted to hack. I think the last computer game cheat I did was in Doom, IDDQD which was 19 years ago now, and even then I didn't like it since I made it a personal challenge to complete the game on 1% health. You say you won't ever ever cheat again. but then a few posts back you say "I can't make you agree that I will never cheat again, hell, I may," anyway, I'm done. Got better things to do, like play.

You just said you may cheat again. You didn't learn anything, that's the point. You got caught. You KNEW before you got caught it was wrong. You spent paragraphs explaining how you cheated in other games and realised it was wrong, you spent paragraphs saying how it ruined the experience, and how you couldn't learn and got beaten down by regular players, yet, you continued to do it! If you really did learn, you would have stopped then, but you didn't. You even say you may do it again now if you feel tempted.

Cheating in a single player game? Sure, go ahead. Cheating in a MP game? No excuse what so ever and a ban is exactly what's needed, and it should stay permanent, otherwise everyone will do it just "once" and then come saying how it's a mistake etc etc when caught. It's easy to say "I won't do it again" once caught.

Heard completely the opposite, that EU were back stabbing assholes, being from the EU myself, I tried out the US servers despite the ping and found people rather nice. These so called "pro" players hide out in the wilderness having no risk. I've seen a 30 day character with less zombie kills and player kills than my 2 hour old character. Nothing special in living long, nothing at all.

No,someone probably looted it. Like I did the other day, only I had a better vehicle and they thought they had parked theirs in a safe place (they stashed 2 there) not actually seeing mine in the bushes 100m up the hill. I could see both theirs from mine, looted theirs, drove off.
