Run around building very tight, through doors etc try to lose line of sight. Find a hill that forces you to walk, then run sideways, in a zig-zag pattern, the zombies will be forced to walk, then if its steep enough, run back down past them, they will follow and launch themselves off and die. Or Abort then reload the game again, all zombies will vanish for a few seconds..

I'm just having a stab in the dark here, But I'm guessing the people that are playing this game are not OAP's that like tinkering in their allotments. You missed number 8 8, First Boil the Egg, shelled - makes it easier to suck..

what's with the word cowards, its a game jeez man don't take it so seriously - If you applied yourself in life like you do playing with Toys maybe...!!!!!?!!! ....... You never know...

very easy, and its not a game.. its like a crossword puzzles, when you've filled in all the spaces, there's no point in playing anymore

The game is a Curiosity, it gets boring fast..

The Zombies have no purpose in the game now, at first it felt creepy with them hanging around towns and chasing after you, but its pretty easy when you know the game better to lose or evade them. or you can just abort reload the game which just cleans them out of your area. The game has become a PVP game now, the zombies are just unimportant, Now when we play we mostly just ignore the zombies and go looking for other players, due to anyone we ever meet just shot straight away. maybe make guns really rare and ammos even rarer, and add loads of melee weapons if they exist on the arma engine. -

maybe don't shot at them, people are leaving them game because they don't wont some A-hole shooting at them after they have spent 3 hours explore and find stuff, people leave the game due to arse holes like you

Well this is the Arma 2 engine in all its greatness, unless the Dayz mod people can rewrite the engine code then patch these bugs it will always be in alpha. I hopped over a small wall, and broken my leg and arm.. Its the engine not the mod, and now arma 3 is coming, with all its engine tweaks, these problems will remain until its ported over..

Well they pay for it, they can do what they bloody hell like with it, go get our own server and stop complaining

I saluted when I met other survivors. If I had anything to give I will give.. When I saw another Survivor I would run over to them, glade to seem them. I try and help out other Survivors, I once watch a bleeding man running for his life with 4 behind him, I shoot the back 2 then follow and take out the other 2. He stops and crouches, I drop bandage and coke. He takes and drink and wraps, We are now an army of 2 we stick together, he follows- but unarmed, I have a side arm and rifle, I give them my side arm, He shoots me in the head.. I see Survivor - I am unarmed I run away I see Survivor, I'm armed, I'm killing you I have blood lust I seek out people to kill..

That was a nice story.. I'm on a beach- How did I get here... Landed in Elektro, Climb the back hill, then creeping into town, first building had some coke and canned food, and random piles of ammo, I took all for now. Second building, directly opposite had more drinks, and random tut, like flare's and glow stick etc, Crept out, and made a dash across the road to something that may have been a shop, Big score here- found map, compass, crossbow+1 bolt, Water bottle and more coke cans and food than I could carry.. Ok pretty well stocked, lets go before my luck runs out, Slow creep to door, then leg it across road- Hmm another open door, another quick one wont hurt - 2 floors- 1st has pistol and a few mags, 2nd floor find bolt, watch and knife. Growling and rustling at door, leg it out the other way and pull Infected, which trigger 2 more, Running like mad towards my exit point ( always attack loot spots with exit point - force walk slopes are the best) Hit the hill and slow to a walk, growling is very close, quick peek behind there's about 6+ 2 hoppers following, Zagged the hill then run back down again, which cleared running infected, quick inspect, find nothing useful. So lets get out of here- run to forest, and hide in bush whilst checking on my spoils. Plan now is to head north, Weapons check Bow+2bolts, and pistol with about 20 rounds, 4 cokes 3 tins of food and full water bottle. My journey up north consisted of a few careful barn raids. few Dear Hides and the odd service station, found some more ammo that I can convert for pistol, it now reads 7-6 and another 3 bolts and Bino's after Hitting Gvozdno, I decided to head West and check out Devils Castle, then move onto the Airfield. Downed Chopper- So much loot, I was Hoping for a Ghillie, I stand out like a sore thumb, But no luck, Some Big meaty look guns, But no ammo, and a snipe rife will 4 mags, the rife also had the red dot. Entering Air field - I see, which at first I thought was a hopper, But no its a survivor, Scope up he is armed, pistol in hand and rifle slung, I shot I kill......His name was Dave and he was a good man, I feel bad.... After searching through the Hangers, finding some more consumables then I head up towards the what appears to be the personnel quarters, Following a concrete fence- I see movement- Human movement flicker of a figure near a bush, I keep tight and slow full back into the woods. I was flanked- Male crouching Rile ready, I circle him and shoot. I was Han solo - Bleeding bad, arm fractured, I bandage and eat - I will survive - The body - I learn nothing, few weapons not much ammo, No food or water. I head back towards the quarters- and enter the first small Hut- I hear walking, I head breathing- it Gets louder, Closer, I crouch as tight as I can to the wall, The breathing now sounds like exhaustion and right outside, - Is there a window behind me, I quickly look behind to find solid wall, someone enters, its like a knife fight in a phone box, he falls first, blood spraying, it turns gray - I'm on a beach- How did I get here...

I have no idea whats going on with the spawing. its seems broken of late, I could just clean out the loose zombies around a Barn and then check out the place, Now the minute I shoot, they're spawning all over the place- I just died as 3 spawn on top of me about 15 mtrs prone from the barn -as I was shooting 15 newly spawned zombies that were running at me. It seems the only way to kill them now is to have them flying off a steep hill .

Well if its popular and i made it I would charge, but hey i like stuff- Cars Boats big houses and Holidays, So if they do change, I dont blame them..

Do you do anything, Travel the world? work for charity- maybe you're an avid skydive, Because your life sound so interesting, can we be friend. You just sound like an amazing popular person. -: You knows what you want and won't stop until you get it.. Im so jealous

My idea's The gaming community actually gets over itself and remembers people think most of them are sad virgins and games are just basically glorified toys. This game will ruin itself due to the community being full of prick that think this game is SOOO important.. The game is only as good as the engine, and the arma engine is buggier than 90's PC game Hidden & Dangerous. Being playing for about a week, and I think its nothing more than a curiosity.. Knife/axe can cut down branches for make shift weapons. Also with branches and maybe found cord/string bows can be made.

Barn in the middle of nowhere - Easy in and out. Zom in door way and hopper outside, -Hmm there might be food some ammo and guns in there, one of our main goals is to get weapons for survival.. So there is just nothing apart from trees and a road, I checked the area and it was empty of zoms- Shot door zombie, and 3 come running from nowhere and hopper, shoot them next there's about 10, I get the DT's and 1st person mode starts to shake like mad -this happens now and again. Switch to 3rd person and start to run, quick peek behind and there'all chasing me up a hill, Zig-Zig mode engaged- get to top then wait for them and run down passing them, then its starts raining falling zombies, But they just keep damn spawning, as quick as I kill some more just take their place, then one spawn next to me, swipe and I'm down.. If the idea is not too shot the guns as this activates insane spawning mode, then what is the point- ?

Ha the Server nuke thing, everyone just died, lol

Passing through a factory, up a over turned door used as a ramp and then head pops up and an arms knocks me down too hour glass.. I was full health also- the place was empty of Zoms I know the mod is alpha, but just out of curiosity can these issue be fixed - as in Zombs passing through walls, attacks through walls and clipping into the ground? Or is this an Arma2 engine issue?

you might have the HD Video Cameras, you might have the Quality Recoding devices, you might have the best video editing software - with money can buy there things, and nowadays not all that expensive, but what these home made film show us is talent cant be bought. I could record a bowel movement and that would be better to watch

The Game is limited to the Arma 2 engine, So unless the mods can re-write the source' code and remove all the bugs the actual game designers wrote, i can't see much changing even when It goes from Alpha to what ever finished product.. Arma 2 is a buggy game, even the single player game is buggy, enemies vanish can shoot through buildings etc Big But coming.. But I think the game is genius and great fun to play, for a game like this to work you need a massive open area that isn't interrupted by loading screens and modifiable and the Arma 2 engine was the best thing to use, and as most of the server are usaully full or pretty busy I can Hopefully see something real and stand alone in the future.

I usaully play a girlie- ( thinking people might not shot my face off - Doesn't work ) I found some civvies, but it Said the female model cant use this item until something happens, Cant remember the rest

Just started playing this mod about 2 days ago. So far Ive died many times, mainly from other players shooting me but I can evade zombies usaully using the hill slow thing..But Im getting better fast... I'm pretty good at kitting myself, I know the map well now, and have a set path I take on new respawn, so I can get armed and supplied, but I'm just to trusting..Its a post apocalyptic world where people need to band together. EG. Guy running away down a road towards me with about 4 zoms after him, I was hiding by a bush and shot the 2 back ones dead, then run after him and finish the others off, And we teamed up I thought! I gave him a coke and my side arm, as I had an AK and enough ammo, - He shot me in the head.. So if you're one of the good guys and fancy teaming up with me drop me a PM etc, Im EU-UK and have a vent server thing.. I like this game, imo its the minecraft for adults - and it can only get better with each update - hopefully ;-)
