This has been suggested basically daily, use the search engine.. Also this would be very difficult to implement in Day Z's current form using the Arma 2 engine, maybe in Stand-alone but I'm doubtful.

Just keep looking for a server that has moonlight, you will find one and like others have said it depends on the time. I can play on full nighttime servers, I just need to have flares and chemlights otherwise its very hard to see let alone navigate.

Well personally I've never really had seven cans of food and I don't think someone would honestly sit there in a fight-fight eating canned food as it gives back so little blood. I do know what you mean about cooked meat, but to be fair that's the only chance someone has of restoring blood at a reasonable rate, without having to go get a blood transfusion and then can not be an option for some players, so that would put them at a disadvantage and that isn't really fair. -

I played Arma 2 long before Day Z was even around, used to play around with the mission editor and make missions or download mods and play the campaign, lots of fun was had. I wish people would try it and give it a go for what it is, a military simulator, not go OH THIS IS SHIT, THIS ISN'T AN AAA MODERN SHOOTER. -
No, that is a horrible idea. I like the modern day setting of Day Z it suits the mod well. Most guns would kill you with one shot to the upper-body anyway, the anti-material are not some magical death cannons, stop making them out to be.

No thank you, I'd much prefer silencer attachments if any kind of silencer were to be implemented. Personally I wouldn't like any attachments for my guns, I like Day Z being gritty and realistic.

Very useful weapon OP, I've had one myself and they are fantastic for finding targets and eliminating them. I personally used it to spot targets so I could avoid them as I like to play as a ghost in Day Z. -
Think about before posting a suggestion, how hard can it be..

Yeah, I'd like to see something like this too. Being able to pick gender, skin color, facial hair and so on would be good customization and I'd like to see it implemented. -

On the corpse of a dead player near Balota airfield, right after I'd just spawned. He had an AS50 and ghillie suit too, pretty lucky. -
You know the best way to stay alive OP. Be a ghost, that's how I play and it keeps me alive. Sure I help the occasional person I can, but I stay hidden and it keeps me alive.

I'd love something like that, it would be an excellent way to draw sniper fire and make them give away their positions. I'd prefer the old helmet on a stick trick personally.
