Am i the only one dying because of bugs? :P
Womb Raider replied to DDraiman1990's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Yeah, I've encountered my share. But most of the time these glitches don't end up killing me, as I quite often have a buddy nearby to help me. My most recent would be crawling over a doorway into one of the red apartments in Cherno and that somehow broke my legs. -
These sound good in theory and I'm all for new ideas for Day Z and the development of it. But personally I think stuff like this should stay in Dead Rising and it has no place in Day Z. Also Day Z has always been about the PVP and the zombies, I don't think there should ever be any kind of human NPC's.

Driving along on an ATV hit the side of a railway track and do a triple flip in the air and somehow land on all four wheels, woah. Driving it along Balota airfield, accidentally clip the side of a building and the ATV does a flip onto its back. RIP Mr. ATV.

How far did you swim out, where did you swim out? If you feel as if this is a bug, you should make a bug report.

PVP Suggestion: an item to trick an enemy. (decoy aid)
Womb Raider replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
So, an item that makes a sniper give away his position? -
Whistle bind: A simple idea that might reduce needles PK'ing
Womb Raider replied to eel's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Very good idea, would be helpful to players that don't have microphones and are limited in what they do in terms of player to player interaction. I hope it does get implemented as it would certainly be a step towards me not shooting someone when they don't respond to my voice over direct chat. -
Looking forward to the update, hopefully it will come out soon. What I'm looking forward to in the near future, is a fix for zombies coming through walls and attacking me and people fortifying places in Cherno, with ridiculous fortifications that are impossible to get around.
-
Yeah, I always get very, very cautious when birds fly away. Makes me very paranoid that there may or may not be a shooter in the tree-line.
-
You can find guns, it just depends where you look. If you are playing on a large player server it is very likely that Cherno and Elektro are going to have all the good loot gone quite quickly, honestly your best bet is to head in-land to barns and deer stands. You will find some kind of weapon there whether that is a hatchet or a CZ, you will find something.

www.arma2.com/arma-2-chernarus/map-of-chernarus_en.html What I always use and it works for me.

It varies for me, it is usually about 2-4 minutes for me though.

Sounds like a good idea, but how much morphine and painkillers would you have to take in order to be addicted? +1'ing it regardless.
-
No. I don't want to have to put my backpack on the ground, every time I wanna grab something from it. That is not fun at all and would result it many deaths and because Day Z is in an alpha, it would be glitchy as.
-
A tropical island wouldn't really fit the current climate/continent of Day Z. I agree that more exploration is needed, I just don't know if this is the right way.
-
Sounds like you need to play on some new servers, be more cautious and be more vocal when communicating with fellow survivors.
-
No, most players won't kill you sight. It sounds like you've had poor experiences with Day Z and you are basing them all off this. People are friendly in Day Z you just have to be willing to find them, I've encountered all kinds of people, but I find the most friendly ones are the ones I talk to over direct chat with my microphone, maybe that is your problem.

Canned Fruit! (And all the implications there-in)
Womb Raider replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Canned fruit sounds awesome and would certainly be realistic. Please implement this +1. -
Is Cherno and Elektro really that fun?
Womb Raider replied to Kalignoir's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I always go to Cherno and Elketro to get supplies and starting weapons. Yes, there are dangers but they are pretty much avoidable if you are smart. Most of all, stay low and watch out for tall buildings and gun shots as they are quite often accompanied by snipers. -
Yeah, thanks Rocket. This is by far one of the best mods I have ever played, especially since it is about the zombie apocalypse. Please keep up the good work and I appreciate being able to play and be a part of such an awesome experience such as Day Z.
-
I like the idea, but I'm not too fond of being able to drink sea water after being purified. Yes it is realistic, but it would take away from the exploration of finding water sources and I think that would go against what Day Z stands for.

I think we should leave the hard-to-remove barbed wire.

So you spawned into one of the most heavily watched/sought after places in the game and someone killed you and you want "spawn protection". Yeah, nah. Find a safe place to log off, not in the middle of the barracks.

Hello, In my opinion it would be good if the various dumpsters that were around Day Z, had a chance to have valuable loot in them, such as cans of soda or a can of food. It would be realistic to find some food around in dumpsters in the world of Day Z. Also it would be good in my opinion if medical supplies could spawn at the tents near Balota or any supplies as I've never seen anything good in the tents. Thanks, Womb Raider.

Disconnect to Avoid Death Exploit Fix
Womb Raider replied to Serrath's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
2km is fairly big, so this could be griefed, but to be honest it's probably one of the best ideas I've heard recently regarding disconnecters.
