Yes the quality of the community may have declined slightly, but don't let all the posts I'm sure you will see on the forums saying "He shot me! I offered him some food and then he picked up a gun and shot me! I'm going to shoot on sight from now on" All the people that do that, really need to chill out. I'm not saying the community is perfect, but it's still good. A golden rule I have whenever I encounter someone in Day Z, is always have the advantage over them, whether that be a heavily armed player at NWAF or someone that just spawned on the coast. I've seen a lot of posts of people complaining that people they just met that had nothing, killed them the moment they find a gun. I have to ask myself why wouldn't you be constantly aware of what this person is doing, I follow that golden rule and I've never been killed by someone I've met before.

Why wouldn't grass move and get rustled if you were crawling over it with a heavy pack and an assault rifle.. The Ghillie Suit already is good and Day Z isn't going to hold your hand.

Very useful program, I use it to check the times of servers as it is annoying having to go into every server and see what it is.

Not possible at the moment. Stand-alone possibly, but I don't think it would fit with Day Z.

A. I do like the sound of that but people could just abuse them so that would have to be looked into. B. If this were to happen at all, it would be much later down the track.

Not going to happen, it is one of the many parts why I love Day Z and Arma 2. Also if you're saying this is solution to PK'ing, that makes this suggestion even worse.

Judging from your post, I assume you play on veteran servers. That would be a nice feature to have in for you guys.

Server hoppers and people that have memorized where they are, have gotten there before you.

I'm fine with something like this for people that do it during a fire fight and when something doesn't suit them. But personally it is my only defense against hackers, but I suppose I shouldn't get used to my gear.

Sorry Mr DMR and night vision goggles, is it so hard to get it all back. This is a terrible idea OP and it should stay in BF3 where it belongs. Day Z is a game about survival in a world which has gone to shit, allowing you to spawn with your friends would ruin that.

A. NPC patrols will never happen, the only way you will see patrols is if they are player made. B. There will never be any safe zones in Day Z.

Sigh. You do realize that Arma 2 is a military simulator and Day Z was built upon Arma 2's engine, so how are zombies going to function properly when they were never supposed to be anywhere near Arma 2. Are you retarded?

Not going to happen, Rocket has said himself PVP is an integral part of the mod. Also stop being so dramatic, bandits are portrayed far worse in Day Z then they actually are. Also if banditry puts off new players to Day Z, then it isn't the mod for them.

Yeah, something like this would be nice and would certainly add to Day Z. I'd like to see them really spread out though as people do just grab vehicles and drive to all the spots where the helicopters have crashed, but I suppose you could still do it with something like this.
