No, I don't see how you could possibly misfire your gun if you are playing, if you've came back from alt-tabbing or something, fair enough as I do that. But I doubt something like this would be needed for that.

Yeah, I'd certainly like to see the forest more scary. Ambiance sounds would be needed the most and then the odd zombie or two. -
Let's work on this idea - When killed by a Zombie, you could get a choice of spawning as a Zombie or a Survivor.

1. Nice idea in theory, but would be difficult to implement. 2. Doesn't fit with what Day Z is. 3. Been suggested before and has been discussed numerous times, I'm personally against it as I feel it doesn't fit the style of Day Z. -

Zombies were never meant to be in Arma 2 in anyway, shape or form so there are going to be some issues with how they run, how they act and how they function. Rocket is tweaking them as he goes, so just give it time. -
Yeah, I feel for you guys it must get very frustrating having your servers hacked and not being able to do anything about it. I'd really like to see you get something like this.

No, just no. Special zombies, boss zombies don't fit the style of Day Z, this isn't a game where you encounter boss zombies. I know you're just trying to suggest ideas, but I disagree.

This is a good idea and I'd like to see it implemented, like others have said I'm pretty sure this is being added more in-depth soon. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe Rocket mentioned something about this in his interview with TotalBiscuit. -
This has been suggested before and good discussion came out of it. I personally like the idea but I'm not too sure how practical it would be in terms of traversing the landscape. As a fair bit of Day Z is spent in-land.

Exploiter friendly mechanics as in, third person, seeing zombies locations through walls? -
Be very hard to implement a knife as a melee weapon in Day Z, so hard it really wouldn't be worth the effort. Also like others have said, a hatchet is your best friend.

I do like the idea of something like this, but this would require the shooter to not have an itchy trigger finger and that's quite rare in Day Z. -

I see what you're saying, but what's the harm in having both of them? And seeing zombies through walls is your peripheral vision if I remember correctly and its only enabled on certain servers, so don't put all regular servers in the same boat.
