Something like this would be nice to see and it certainly would lay the foundations for group mechanics. But like you said I don't know if it would be possible in Arma 2's engine, so if it were to be implemented you'd probably have to wait for a stand-alone version.

You can have all the maps you want, but the moment the server restarts, people go and horde them on the edges of the map, so good luck.

Yes, you cannot be banned for using that gun from BE, but server owners and admins can and will ban you. -

Not sure, never encountered it before, I do know though that some people say they've repeatedly shot at hospital glass with all kinds of weapons but it won't break, I personally have shot it before and its broken, so I'm not too sure.

Very hard to implement currently, not worth it in my opinion. In standalone though, I'm still very eh about melee weapons.

Personally I hardly have any issues with them anymore, they used to be at every building that had any kind of average loot in them and it was fucking ridiculous, thankfully that isn't the case anymore, at least in my experience. Personally I wouldn't be for a full removal but I would like to see them, implacable near buildings as they tend to be heavily abused for servers hoppers and just people griefing. -

1. That's exactly why we don't like them as they identify you, there shouldn't be a magical name tag popping up when you scan over the treeline you should have to rely on your eyes to spot a potential shooter. I realize this is a potential fix to KOS, but I don't think this is the fix that should happen. 2. There is global chat on certain servers, stop suggesting it.

Haven't had that happen yet, I have had a zombie hit me once and kill me when I was on 12,000 blood and I've had my legs broken by a gate, oh you Day Z.

Been suggested before, there was a huge thread on it. There has also been variants of an idea like this, like chalk for instance. I personally think it would just be abused, but it would be a nice feature if it could be implemented properly. -

Well, you were in Cherno, which is a major PVP place. Be careful the next time you go in, it does happen, but players that are armed like that aren't going to very friendly towards you as they will be too paranoid about losing their stuff to someone. It doesn't make it right, but yeah.
