I took a break from playing for a while for the reason in the topic title; I know there was a while where they were quite annoying. Wanting to just see if it's safe enough to log-in without much hassle and instant destruction.

While I've been reading other topics, I haven't seen a fix. Although, I have seen the 'Waiting on character to create' topic. I have passed that, and have proceeded to get to the 'Loading' screen with no sounds and end up have to alt-ctrl-delete. Any fix to this? -
I've read everywhere that it isn't an issue and can be skipped, however, when I do skip it-- which I don't believe I do, because it doesn't give me the chance?-- it takes me back to the list of servers to join. Any suggestions or know-hows to fix this issue? Huh. On the server screen, it says "Waiting for character creation" -- or something along those lines, in the background after I make an attempt to join. Is there away to lower the Server Screen?
