    Yeah, I plan on calling tomorrow. This really isn't the kind of connection I want to pay for.

    I'm not on dialup. Bellsouth DSL. The "official" name is "Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet". Not sure how fast it's supposed to be, but it really sucks. I'm thinking of calling them tomorrow and seeing exactly how fast that whatever internet package I have is supposed to be.

    I'm downloading Arma 2 right now at a solid 45 kb/s. My internet isn't good when it comes to downloads at all. And I do leave it on overnight.

    My internet isn't the fastest when it comes to downloads. This is the 4th day of downloading, and Arma 2 is almost done. OA got done today.

    Ok haha. Now I feel like an idiot. I've got everything set up correctly, except for the simplest part: the actual game itself. :P

    Does it require that I have the normal Arma 2 installed? OA is already installed, but Arma 2 is still installing.

    Followed this guide, but I still get kicked out of games when I try to join them with an error that reads that I am missing "chernarus".

    Beginner Question

    Hello. I recently purchased Arma 2: CO, mainly for the DayZ mod. I have Operation Arrowhead downloaded, and the normal Arma 2 is about halfway finished, but I paused its updating on Steam once OA finished. I am completely sure that I installed the DayZ mod correctly. I torrented 1.7.1.5, placed it in a folder in the Operation Arrowhead game folder called Addons, which was then placed inside of a folder called @DayZ. I added the launch string in the game's preferences. Now, I keep getting this error about a CivScope, but a thread that I saw on this forum detailed the same problem, and said that you need to run CO instead of just OA. I'm going to try that. However, the root of my problem lies in my inability to connect to any games. It always gives me an error saying that some map file named "Chernarus" is missing, along with a few other files. I'll copy/paste the exact error here if needed. Any suggestions?
