And what would you hope to gain from removing the military spawns?

I joined to a public server today after being away for a long period of time. I was happy to see that I still had my gear on and had nice amount of supplies, but I didn't get too far when I was teleported and killed -.-

Me and my buddies were playing on our regular server, having lots of fun finding vehicles and stuff. It was getting kinda late so we decided to head back to our camp and log out to continue the next day. When we logged again to continue where we left suddenly my friend cannot login. The server is broadcasted with a msg player *snip* has been kicked by BattleEye: Admin ban (gamehack #37) We've played the mod from the beginning, honing the survival aspect and never exploited the mod in any circumstances, yet this happens? I've contacted the admin team so they could look into this but they need the GUID of my friend for possible unbanning. Yesterday we tried to find it, googled the battleEye command and other possible ways, but when my friend tries the command ingame he only gets a blank response(like: BattleEye: player GUID: ) and he doesn't see his GUID when joining a server, like me and my other friends do. I don't know if he is blind as a mole or just plain stupid, but he can't see his GUID :P. So im asking your help for hints to find the GUID so we can continue playing on our fav server. I've tried to look into the Arma2 and BattleEye folders for leads, but there isn't anything useful inside. But if it turns out it was a legitimate ban im going to laugh and diss my friend for being a jerk and not telling he's been hacking :DD

What a shame its hacked weapon.. Me and my friend stumbled upon duped tents and happened to find 5 of them inside and took 1 each. Well, have to get rid of it now :D

I think it is a side effect from changing server

What DayZ needs is a user friendly Map Editor, It's a mess to make a map in Arma II..

Exactly the same happened to my group, our old hatchback ate 2 SVD's, NVG's, Ghillies and all sort of other goodies and reverted back to the items that were inside the car when we found it. Same happened to our tent, it is stocked with food and soda and we always grab our meals from there when we go out exploring, the tent was fully restocked after a server restart today..

Be patient and always place worthless items into the tent before server restart and spam save it, if the items are still there after restart then the tent should be safe to place any loot inside. Haven't had any issues after I started doing this.

I found a Ghillie last night and wore it asap, it worked like charm :) only thing is that now I occasionally get teleported to debug plains when I login..

I seem to be spawning to debug plains every 5th or so login attempts -.- It's annoying, but as Jukez said, if you relog you will be teleported back to one of the beach starting areas with all your gear. Once I actually spawned back where I logged out the last night and my corpse was there with all my gear so I kinda duped myself by accident :D

I bought Operation Flashpoint:CWR+GOTY when it was released(back then my comp barely ran it with minimum settings :D) I bought Arma when it was released in the past and really enjoyed Sahrani and the urban areas it had, made for some real awesome CQB fights.. I also played the first ever zombie mod made for arma in the past and it was ton of fun, but very demanding on the system. Since OFP I have sold my soul to milsim games and had to buy Arma II from steam when it was released, but never actually completed any of the campaings :P The AI was/is horrible so it made any attempt to playthrough unenjoyable.. I personally just make different scenarios with the editor and then play them through with my mates every now and then. Also were playing Finnish Defence Forces mod and relive our service times as a Finnish army recruits :D Recently I found the Bennys warfare edition and we have been playing it occasionally, having ton of fun.

I have only encountered disappearing loot if I forgot to spam the save function of the tent. I logged in today after a week of absence and found that my tents had most of their items in place, but I was missing 1 of my M107's, at first I thought it was taken by another player but who takes a gun and not the ammo+ does not leave their primary weapon.
