I'm thinking of buying an iMac for working purposes but I also enjoy playing DayZ and I am anticipating the release of Standalone. What I was wondering was if I would be able to play DayZ at high settings and hopefully standalone with the following specifications: Type iMac All-in-one Desktop Processor Intel® Core™ i5 processor (2.9 GHz, Turbo Boost up to 3.6 GHz, 6MB L3 cache) Operating system OS X Mountain Lion Storage 1 TB, 5400 rpm - configurable to 1 TB Fusion Drive PERFORMANCE RAM 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3 - 1600 MHz Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics processor Graphics card memory 512 MB GDDR5 Thank you in advance. (Please don't tell me to get a desktop, i've already decided on getting an iMac - thanks!)

Can someone explain how I can recieve certain information from the logs files? Like, what individual lines of the logs mean? Is there some kind of factual wiki or thread?

Simple question, how can I ban players off of my server? Remotely and active players.

I said ban, is that the similar process but with #ban instead?

So, I hit start game on my Arma II launcher and then sends me to the normal screen, once I select a server and hit join, it cuts to a black screen and a few seconds along I get the error message: "Arma II OA has stopped working" and it forces me to close my game. And yes, I've tried browsing the forums and looking at the stickied threads. Any help?

I'm using Arma II launcher like I stated. That was irrelevant, I'm unable to join any servers.

Good evening all, Just a quick issue which started occuring a few days ago. Hello there, I've only owned this server for a few days now and I have quite a few questions. Firstly, are you able to remotely ban players, if so, how? The other founder and I have a policy that logging to avoid combat = server ban. Also, we were curious on how to read the logs effectively, it just seems like a load of jibberish to me, I'm not educated with scripting languages. Thanks in advance, - Haze, host of UK15.

So, I've been looking around but nothing, what is the backstory of DayZ? What caused the apocolypse? What happened before? Etc.

Basically the topic title says it all, I'm requesting to be put into the server host usergroup.

Is it still possible to go outside the map? I really hope vehicle are still being deleted from out the out of bounds areas.
