So my friend has bought the PMC DLC, but where can he find the files? I want him to send them to me so I can use hi-res PMC skins without buying the DLC. Same with BAF (he has BAF too).

I don't want to ripoff Bohemia, I like their games and I bought ArmA 2 back in 2009, same with Operation Arrowhead, bought it when they released it. But how can I buy the DLCs if I don't have steam version? I can't... that's why I need to do it this way...

Is anyone able to do a DayZ Namalsk map? There is this Lingor map, so can anyone do the same thing with Namalsk? That map fits into DayZ's atmosphere totally, it even seems like it's built for zombies (they even are in the "Shadow of Namalsk" campaign with bloodsuckers in the Namalsk mod).

Sorry for my bad english. SURVIVOR SKINS - As you know, those who don't have Private Military Company DLC can see only the lowest textures of the survivor skins. And around 70% of players see those skins like this, because they don't have PMC. I, myself, have PMC but I know about this because most of my friends don't. This isn't a big issue, but I suggest you to make your custom skins in the future. I know that you can't use those civilian skins from normal ArmA because they can't use backpacks and you can't use those from OA too because they wouldn't fit in Chernarus. So I guess it would be the best way to do your own skins in the future. SPAWNING - I would really like an option to select where do you want to spawn. Why? Because when I want to play with my friends, we never spawn in the same spot and it takes hours to find each other. Maybe this is a bad idea, I know, but it would be cool feature at least on Rookie and Regular difficulty. INFECTED ABLE TO WALK THROUGH WALLS AND DOORS - This should be the issue #1. This needs to be fixed. I mean, they should be able to open doors, that's maybe ok (or destroy them? is that possible on ArmA engine?) but walk through them? That totally destroys the need to hide from infected in buildings. SPECIAL INFECTED - I don't mean something like in Left 4 Dead or Dead Island, because that would totally ruin the atmosphere. But those CDF infected should be more resistant to bullets and melee weapons because they have kevlar vests, so aiming for the head would be more important. And what about something like infected firefighters? They'd have axes in their hands, so one hit from them would be fatal. BARRICADING - I saw on few servers (un-modded game) the ability to move things such as chairs or tables. This would be uber epic in DayZ I think  So feel free to tell me your opinion on my ideas. Are they good or are they stupid? Or maybe both? :)

So how do tents work? Do they disappear after some time, or are they persistent even if you play on different servers, they appear when you appear (I mean, each tent appears when the owner joins the server?)

When I click on my backpack in my inventory and I click on the "open bag" option, nothing happens. How can I open it?

Thank you, I was looking for something like this!

How can I spawn on the same place with my friend? We always spawn so far from each other... (and we can't find each other because there's no map, you need to find one and I don't know where)

So I did this 12 times... "RETAIL INSTALLATION 1) Download both ARMA 2 and ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead 2) Make sure you install the latest patch for the retail version from http://www.arma2.com/supply/game-updates 3) Run the game once before proceeding. 3) Download DayZ Mod files. http://armafiles.info/dayz/ 4) Make a folder named "@DayZ" in your Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead directory. 5) Inside "@DayZ" folder create another folder named "Addons". It should look like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons 6) Unpack all DayZ Mod files in the "Addons" folder. 7) Right click on ArmA2:OA.exe - create shortcut. 8) Right click on the new shortcut - properties. 9) Add "-mod=@dayz" without the quotes to the target line. You can find other launch options, like windowed mode here: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma2...Parameters 10) Run the shortcut." ... and nothing. I even tried to download and install the beta patch and still nothing. When I turn on Combined Operations and click on Addons there is @DayZ and it's green, but I can't see it under the ArmA logo and I can't connect to any DayZ server because I have "wrong version". I never successfully installed any mod into ArmA, I've tried Namalsk and ACE but nothing worked correctly. I have original version (non-steam) of ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead.

But I saw somewhere that if you correctly installed the mod, there should be a DayZ sign under ArmA logo in upper right corner, but I don't have it there. There's only the logo without DayZ.

It's in Czech (I use Czech language in-game) but it's the same thing like when you connect to some modded server and you don't have the mod.
