    It's mainly from not wanting to lose gear. There are folks like me who don't shoot on sight. If you encounter them, likelihood is that you wouldn't even know it because we just turn the other way and leave. If i'm cornered i'll kill to stay alive, but if i can make it away without firing a shot that's preferable.
