Hello everyone, I am fairly new to the forums so if im doing anything wrong, sorry. I bought arma 2 and arma 2 operation arrowhead about a week ago, and i installed them both and played a little. Then i found out about the DayZ mod and i thought it was really cool so i decided to try it out. Since then, I have reinstalled by game 4 times and tried a lot of ways to install it. (BTW this is non steam version). I have tried to install it manually by creating a folder named @dayz and then creating another one in it called addons and then i would unzip the files. Then I made a shortcut to OA and added the command thing into the target line in properties. This dident work, I had @dayz under the arma 2 logo, but everytime I joined a server it would kick me. When i would try to join another server it would kick me again, only this time it would say that i have to remove some files. Then, I tried to beta updata my arma and launch the Arma 2: OA beta patch version of it. this had the same result and I was still kicked and it also listed the files that i need to remove. I tried removing the files but that just completely messed up my Arma so i reinstalled and started over. Please help? what am i doing wrong?
